7.1 Admin Login on Client Side
Admin Login on the Client side is only for the employee with admin rights, so that he can login to the CLINCK Cyber Café Client, and then restart/logoff/shutdown the terminal, when the CLINCK Cyber Café Client is not able to connect to the CLINCK Cyber Café Server.
Two instances while closing the CLINCK Cyber Café Client are:
When the Client machine is connected to CLINCK Cyber Café Manager Server.
When the Client machine is not able to connect to CLINCK Cyber Café Manager Server.
When the Client machine is connected to CLINCK Cyber Café Manager Server, do the following:
Click Admin Login.
The Employee Login dialog box opens.
In the Employee Login dialog box, do the following:
Enter Employee Name.
Enter Password.
Click Login.
The CLINCK Cyber Café Manager: Settings dialog box opens.
Click Exit Café Manager Client.
The CLINCK client application is closed.
When the client application is not able to connect to the CLINCK Server, do the following:
Click Admin Login.
The Online Verification window opens.
The Online Verification window has two methods:
If Internet is connected, you must enter the Cafe Code and Partner Site Password for online verification.
If Internet is not connected, you must generate a temporary password.
Two ways to generate a temporary password:
From the CLINCK server
From the Ideacts Partners website
To generate a temporary password from the CLINCK server, do the following:
On the Help menu, click Generate Temporary Password.
The Generate Temporary Password dialog box opens as shown in the figure Generate Temporary Password.
In the Generate Temporary Password dialog box, do the following:
Enter Unique ID received from the Online Verification window on the client machine.
Note:

Click Generate Temporary Password.
A temporary password is generated automatically.
To generate a temporary password from the Ideacts Partners website, do the following:
On the Ideacts Partners website http://www.ideacts.com/cms/partner/Login.aspx, do the following :
Enter the Café Code and Password.
Click Sign in.
The partner landing page opens.
In the partner landing page, click Generate Temporary Password.
The Generate Temporary Password window opens as shown in the figure Generate Temporary Password.
In the Generate Temporary Password window, do the following:
Enter the Unique ID received from the client terminal.
Note: See the figure Online Verification for Unique ID. |
Click Generate Temporary Password.
A temporary password is generated automatically.
Enter the Temporary password in the figure Online Verification.
Note: This password can only be reused until the application is running. If the application stops and restarts, a new Unique ID and Password is required. |
Click Login.
Result: The login to the terminal is successful.
