My years spent as an InfraGard Member have shown me the importance of collaboration between the Private Sector and the Government. I’ve witnessed how streamlined this communication can be when channels are open and there is a mutual enthusiasm for collaboration.

President’s Welcome

Welcome to InfraGard Houston! Founded in 1996, InfraGard is a non-profit volunteer organization with the mission of promoting ongoing dialogue and timely communication between members and the FBI concerning the security of, vulnerabilities in, and threats to the 16 U.S. national key asset and critical infrastructure entities defined by Presidential Policy Directive (PPD)-21. InfraGard members are provided with information to assist them in protecting critical infrastructure assets. In turn, they are encouraged to provide information to the FBI, thereby facilitating its responsibilities to detect, deter, and investigate acts of terrorism and other crimes.

Incorporated in May 2006, the InfraGard Houston Chapter is proud to be one of the largest chapters in the United States with over 4,500 members and 15 established Cross-Sector Councils. Our Chapter hosts chapter and cross-sector council meetings with presentations from the FBI and industry subject matter experts highlighting relevant case studies and topics. We have a vibrant and active membership dedicated to the InfraGard mission to collaborate with the FBI and each other in order to safeguard our national interests.

There are many rewarding opportunities and ways members can be involved in our Chapter as leaders, presenters, sponsors, and subject matter experts. As our partnership with the FBI has grown in importance, we are uniquely positioned to offer our membership the opportunity to contribute to the protection of our nation’s industries and communities. We invite you to join us and be an advocate for InfraGard and our Chapter!
