Indian railways(IRCTC)

One of the worst service provided by indian govt for travellers/passengers.
No fix time of the trains to reach at the destination with poor quality of the trains and the internal facilities.
Also the irctc website is so pathetic to use as it stops working due to huge traffic while ticket booking especially in the morning around 10AM(AC) & 11AM(NON-AC). At least they should work on the site to speed up and maintain the stability in the huge traffic as well.
I hope public's issues matters and hope to see indian railways serving good facilities to the public soon.

Always trains are late

Always trains are late . Noone knows what is reason for late . Ticket collectors are openly demanding money for small issues . Attenders are really demanding for giving bed sheets

Just travelled from DAMOH To JAIPUR

Just travelled from DAMOH To JAIPUR, not a great experience cleaning not at mark, no restrictions local were entering into AC COACHES seems no sense to book an AC tickets, no security, IRCTC should made little more strictness and checks on people entering and sitting without taking a reservation or booking their tickets, and also observed that some TT's who are there to vigilance are getting sold for some extra pennies, is IRCTC not paying them enough so, they are opting this way to make extra money..

Kindly look and check and being a female traveller it seemed to be a discomfort travel on the basis of Cleaning and security both.

Kindly check and intervene also take some actions towards it.

IRCTC Website and customer services is equals to GARBAGE !!!

i think this is the world's sh***** online ticket booking platform.. Had a very poor experience with the website too many pop up ADS.. Trying to recover my old account from this sh** and it asks every moment for user id.. An request for the developers of this sh***** website kindly keep a simple way to login using mobile number and OTP rather than user id and sh**.. Really had a poor customer experience with IRCTC.

First Class 1AC trains

First Class 1AC trains. DONT GO ON A FIRST CLASS

We were booked as two men travelling from Dehli to Varanasi. That should be a COUPE. But the booking must have been made as a CABIN. So unbeknownst to us we had to share the four berth cabin. This was most unfavourable....someone made the booking for us. And therein lies the rub. Embarassment; awkwardness and a very non attentive cabin attendant. There was no food on the train we had. FIRST CLASS!

Coupe and Cabin should be allotted to you if no passenger booked and berth available in the cabin is matched. 2 people for Coupe = good chances of allotment of Coupe. The guard on this train went straight to bed after feeding himself - SO BUYER beware. Insist that what you expect can be realised.

No refund on downgraded of 3A tatkal e-tickets to 3E

I booked tatkal 3A ticket of Gareeb Rath Express but after chart preparation my ticket were downgraded to 3E but still now I didn't get the refund of difference in fare. On contacting through email once they said if e-tickets were booked, IRCTC shall automatically process the refunded amount but no refund is given till date.

Web Server Is Getting Overloaded And Govt Is Nothing Doing For That Like Server Upgrades For DDOS Attack, Cross Site Scripting, SQL Injection Like Security Needs To Be Regular Updated And Should Not Be Under Govt Hand. Light Weight Server Needs Only For Train Ticket Booking Like Others Country And Should Have To Contract Of A Maximum 4 Yrs And

We talk about digitization.

We talk about digitization.. and we are also saying that India is moving fast on this.. and here I am paying penalty of the full ticket cost just because I don't have ticket copy taken from Window! I am shocked to hear this rule of Indian Railway! My name is appearing in the list.. I have shown my ID Proof.. It's proved it's me, I am even giving PNR number.. but just because I don't have hard copy I will have to pay the full ticket cost! It's a loot.. I can only request Indian railways to change this ancient rule especially when we are moving to digitized world..

charting services is very poor, female ko male ke sath RAC sharing confirm kartey hai, at least itni to manner honi chahiye ki female RAC female partner ke sath ho, technology to aise banani chahiye,
but ye to RAC 2 bhi confirm nahi hone dete, black selling karte hai sab.
Railway ko improvement karne dena hi nahi chahte sab ghatia ghuskhor management

I booked tickets for 2 members ladies 1…

I booked tickets for 2 members ladies 1 guy
They provide ticket for 50 years of age in upper berth and one baby mother had alloted upper berth how they climb there seats
This is the worst situation every time I had faced while booking there seats once it's be faced again I will travel through buses it's best even cost is high comfert is necessary for ladies and baby women's and pregents
Please follow proper guidelines while allocating the seats for that persons

If i could rate in the negative i would…

If i could rate in the negative i would -4. 1215pm 02750 to Kanpur from Delhi. Having had my wallet stolen in the crush to get aboard the train, it was not possible to to take my luggage to my seat inside the railcar. The porter disappeared before boarding with a good wad of my cash. I was heavily laden with bags that i use for my business operations. I was then forced to sit (for security of my valuables) on the filthy floor adjacent to the toilet. It stank of feces. The railcar boys thought this was all a bit of a joke. The ticket inspector, nor any other of this shabby crew offered to help. I spent 6 hours in this position. It was extremely uncomfortable i am 62 years old.
The rail car was deeply filthy and unfit for humans. Maybe India rail would do well looking after cattle...their threshold of acceptance is much lower.
I offer to do a course in cleaning and maintenance for your 'carriages' Although i am not a professional cleaner i sure as hell know how to make things fit for humans. I give -4 because the train arrived on schedule.
Time for security cameras on your platforms?...the low life scum is making plenty of money from the lack of surveillance.
As they say...Never again.

TTE not come for ticket checking for local peoples(Surat).

I came from NZM to Vapi with confirm ticket (RAC) in sleeper class (S1-23 Side Lower) when I reached Surat our entire coach looks like a General Coach even i told to peoples don’t sit on my seat. I got an gujarati word “ચૂપ રહો નહીંતર તમને અહીં જ મારવામાં આવશે”. Local peoples behaviour was very rude. One more common thing was that there’s no TTE for tickets checking.

Worst experience with IRCTC

Not able to book tickets trough IRCTC mobile app. Worst performance and quality for common user. Seems to be application specially design for ticket agent.
Today my ticket almost book but post completing payment berth allocation declined within half minute. This thing happened multiple times with me. Common people not able to get ticket but same tickets will be available from IRCTC agent. Agent login facility is affecting on common direct booking on user.

3 AC Economy seats are so bad!

I traveled in 22648 and this is my experience as a passenger..
1) 3 AC Economy seats are so bad!! They reduced the seat sizes, cant even seat properly at the upper berth and sleepingis much worst than bus sleeper coaches.
2) Steps leading to upper berth are so smooth, who the hell is engineer that designed it? Smoothness creates slippery and bad experience to climb!!
3) Bathroom freshers aren't working!!

IRCTC is worst app ever

IRCTC is worst app ever, especially at the time of booking Tatkal ticket at 11 AM the server is not working or sometime login fail because if DNS server error. After passing 10 to 15 minutes server start working and at the time All Tatkal ticket goes on Waiting List
I believe there is mafia between IRCTC and Agents to reserve the ticket. Normal user can’t book the Tatkal ticket because of IRCTC server issue, It only supports agents not coman people
