What is Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA)?
Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) is a program that lets you outsource order fulfillment to Amazon and offer customers free, two-day shipping through Prime. By enrolling in FBA, you can send your products into Amazon’s global network of fulfillment centers, and we’ll pick, pack, and ship orders, as well as handle customer service and returns. You can assign new products during the standard listing process by selecting Amazon will ship and provide customer service (FBA), or change an existing listing to FBA.

Send shipment to Amazon
Transport your products to an Amazon fulfillment center using the Send to Amazon workflow. The workflow will guide you through the shipment-creation process, including preparing, packing, and labeling your inventory.

You can get free monthly storage, rebates, and waivers through the FBA New Selection program. As a new seller, you’re automatically enrolled when you bring new eligible products to FBA and create an FBA shipment within 90 days of listing your first buyable product. Inventory storage costs are charged monthly based on the daily average volume (measured in cubic feet) for the space your inventory occupies in Amazon fulfillment centers. The volume measurement is based on unit size when properly packaged and ready to ship.

When you create a shipping plan, you’ll see a cost estimate for each available inbound placement option. You’ll be charged for the FBA inbound placement service 45 days after your shipment is received based on inbound location and quantities received.
