Q. How does BookNow® work?

  1. First, login to Campus Connect
    1. Click on "Student Services" Tab
    2. Click on the link "Students click here to" in the "Online Student Faculty Box" - this takes you to Self Service Banner (SSB)
    3. Click on "Student Tab"
    4. Click on "Registration"
  2. Next, register for your courses.
  3. At the end of registration you will be able to click on a link that says "Purchase Books at eFollett" which will be on display at the bottom of the page. You will be taken to the bookstore website where the textbooks for the courses you registered for will be featured. At this time you can select which textbooks you would like to purchase. If you do not wish to purchase a textbook you can uncheck the box Buy This Item".
  4. Once you have determined the textbooks you would like to purchase click on "Add to Cart and go to Cart". You are then taken to your shopping cart. From there you can still remove a textbook out of your cart by clicking "delete". You can also update the quantity of textbooks you wish to purchase.
  5. Next you will select if you would like your textbooks replaced if a New or Used textbook is unavailable. If the store runs out of Used textbooks they will replace your textbook with a New textbook. The same will apply if the store runs out of New textbooks. They will replace your textbook with a Used textbook if inventory permits. Once you have selected your replacement preference Click "Checkout"
  6. You will then need to "Login" or "Register" on the bookstore site.
  7. After you login/register, you will select your Delivery Option and have the opportunity to add comments.
  8. You will be taken to the Payment Options page where you enter your payment information. Click "Continue Checkout" where you will be taken to your Order Review page
  9. Once you click "Complete My Order" you will be taken to a Thank You page and a confirmation email is sent.

Q. What information about me is being sent from Self Service Banner (SSB) to efollett.com?

A. The only information about you that is being sent from SSB to efollett.com are the courses for which you registered. Names, addresses, phone numbers or other personal information is not sent.

Q. What if I add or drop a course?

A. If you add or drop a course and purchase your textbooks through booknow the textbooks for ALL the courses you registered for will show up. If you have already purchased the textbooks for a course you will need to delete them out of your shopping cart. If you dropped a course and wish to return your textbooks you will need to follow the bookstore's standard policies for returns.

Q. Will my login and password for Self Service Banner (SSB) work on efollett.com?

A. No, you do not use the same login name on efollett.com that you use for SSB because they are separate systems. Once you get to the 'cart page' you may begin the checkout process and will need to login or create an account with efollett.com in order to complete your transaction.

Q. What does it mean if I receive a message saying "Course Not Available"?

A. If you receive this message, it means that the course you have just registered for has not fed over to the Follett system from Ivy Tech yet. Typically the course textbook will be available the following day for purchase. If the problem continues to persist, contact Follett by e-mail at 1076mgr@fheg.follett.com or by calling at (866) 714-0002 or (812) 466-1327, Monday - Friday 7:45 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Eastern time (excluding holidays). Extended hours will be offered during the start of the semester and will be posted on the website.

Q. What are my payment options?

A. Follett accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and Financial Aid. Orders paid for by credit card are shipped immediately upon authorization by the cardholder's bank for the purchase. financial aid orders are shipped immediately upon successful verification of necessary funds. On financial aid orders, please be sure to use the appropriate ID required for that aid.

Financial Aid Account Numbers:

Pell (Title IV): Student C Number

TAA Funding: Last 4 Digits of Social Security Number

All Other 3rd Party Financial Aid (VA, VocR, WorkOne, etc.): Student C Number

A.
