J. J. Keller VT100 Vehicle Telematics Device + Harness
The VT100 uses state-of-the-art GPS technology and is compatible with all vehicle classes. The unit installs quickly, updates over the air and doesn’t require an externally-mounted antennae. All odometer readings automatically feed into the Encompass® Platform to assist in preventive maintenance and scheduling. The device can even be used as an electronic logging device (additional fees apply).
J. J. Keller® Encompass® Fleet Safety & Compliance Platform Subscription
The back-office system provides you with timely information on your vehicles, where they are at, and their status. You're able to see vehicle history stamped with date, time speed, location, and more. Encompass mapping includes traffic, weather, and traffic camera views so that you can make informed decisions that better serve your customers and protect drivers.
How it Works
The Encompass® Vehicle Tracking Solution partners the powerful Encompass® Fleet Safety & Compliance Platform with the J. J. Keller® Vehicle Telematics Device to provide 24/7 tracking of all powered units.
It offers fuel tax reporting for automated IFTA and IRP compliance and geofencing for improved visibility to truck movements and location.
The Encompass® Vehicle Tracking Solution uses the J. J. Keller® Vehicle Telematics device, which plugs directly into your vehicle’s diagnostic port or via an appropriate harness. It provides exceptional reliability by identifying and using the strongest cellular networks available.
Vehicle tracking data is sent to the Encompass back office, giving fleets timely visibility into a vehicle’s location, route, and trip history.
Advanced mapping delivers multiple view options and up-to-date information on weather and traffic conditions, so drivers and customers can be notified of delays or re-routing.
The Encompass® Vehicle Tracking Solution works with all vehicle classes, so you have visibility to your entire fleet – heavy and light-duty trucks, vans, cars, utility and service trucks, and every vehicle in between.
Back-Office Interface
With the Encompass® Vehicle Tracking Solution, you will have near real-time visibility to see your driver’s location on a map. Additionally, you can set up landmarks for your home base or other important locations, such as a shipper or delivery location.
- View details on each vehicle including location, engine status, and speed. The map legend explains the different vehicle activity statuses.
- Detailed map overviews include options to view traffic, traffic cameras, and weather to see how it is impacting your drivers. These features allow you to notify and reroute your drivers whenever necessary.
The Encompass® Platform already has you covered with DOT recordkeeping to track driver and vehicle compliance, like driver qualification, DVIRs, hours of service, and vehicle legalization. With vehicle tracking, you get additional and timely data to manage your fleet more effectively and improve productivity.
