ridiculous customer service!

no complaints about the physical service itself except horrendous roaming charges, so 4 stars, however, TERRIBLE service when asking to change plans, and koodo support wanting to bill me for support fees for doing it, so - 2 stars. they just lost a customer over $15 lol. i upgraded to telus for a far better deal for less.

Koodo Mobile is an unethical company.

Being Koodo customer requires constant vigilance against their sneaking in bogus charges. Most recently I was charged for roaming in the US while on a flight from Canada to Europe.

It is taking hours of may time to get the company to reverse the charge which is a lot of investment for a relatively small amount of money (compared to my usual hourly rate for work). My guess is they make it so hard that you capitol and give them your money rather than spend hours trying to get it back.

A very unethical company.

Modem for Koodo wireless home phone…

Modem for Koodo wireless home phone service stopped working. Tried to get it replaced at retail location who said I had to order from customer service. When I recieved as scheduled call from them they said I ahd to go to a retail location. Went to 4 locations they said would have the modem and they all said they do not stock them and customer service sends them out. Wasted over 5 hours and gas driving around on this.

Koodo charged me for 5G service

Koodo charged me for 5G service when my IPhone 11 is incompatible with a 5G network. They also added on Amazon Prime after I declined it . I find that their customer loyalty is poor. They never compensate you for your trouble let alone trying to reach customer service.

Customer service

My phone needs a new motherboard. Under Koodo warranty. Went to Ajax and Fairview Mall Telus Koodo stores. They had no idea what to do. Told me to go to Apple Store which I did. The phone is not under Apple warranty is a refurbished phone. Been given the run around for 3 days, talked on phone with Koodo customer service who agree phone under warranty. No one seems to know how to get this phone repaired. So I have a broken phone. Left with no idea what to do.

Holy what a hassle

Holy what a hassle. attempts to pay the bill get returned. cannot log in or obtain paper copy. this company is absolute garbage hiding being artificial intelligence robot that ignores customers. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Couldn't cancel my dead husband's mobile

My husband died last week. I spent 2 days trying to cancel his Koodo plan but didn't have the account number and couldn't log onto the site despite trying several times. I finally found a number to call but the person who answered said he couldn't find my account and that they didn't have my husband's cell number on record. He told me to go to a Koobo store to cancel it. There I was told that they couldn't help me and that I would have to phone again but they gave me an account number. I called back and was told the phone number didn't exist and the account number didn't correspond with anything in their records. He said he'd look into it and call me back within an hour. An hour and 15 minutes later I called again and finally got hold of another representative who helped me cancel the account without any trouble. She was very helpful and apologetic but I would never buy another plan with Kobo. It was a depressing experience in a very difficult time.

Canada's Worst Cellular Provider

Their customer support is nearly impossible to get ahold of, and when you do their happy to lie to you about promotional pricing.

Also, they will toss you onto a marketing list over at Telus where you will get daily phone calls even after you tell them to stop calling you.

They've also eliminated most of their Canadian staff, and outsourced overseas to the Philipines and India.

Koodo? Why bother

Although I was a Koodo customer for years service has been getting worse in the last couple of years. I try to get help which isn't easy but lately I've been have calls drop, crossed into the us and lost my network which never used to happen and data nearly non existent. Very poor only to find out instead of getting the 4g that was supposed to be they set me up with 3g at 4 g speed. NOT THE SAME! So I found Freedom Mobile giving me 50G data, 5G network and get this... Canada/US unlimited calling and texting no roaming. All for $34 which is less than was paying for Koodo's 3G data 3g network and Canada only call and text.
Koodo get with the program?

WHAT A CRAP COMPANY!!

WHAT A CRAP COMPANY!!! I signed up and gave my credit card, yet just received a text telling me that my account is overdue. Never got a bill notification, text or otherwise till now. So now I have a late payment charge and my 900 credit score is in Jeopardy. Was fed misinformation about what the roaming in US costs ( off by 2 dollars a day....not a big deal....but still is highly unprofessional if not fraudulant. ) Was told my plan came with texting to the US....but was not told that I actually had a choice between that and an enhance voicemail feature. Unprofessional service. SANJAY from Richmond Hill Hill Crest mall....DO BETTER!!!!

Koodo is the worst for customer service…

Koodo is the worst for customer service you have to deal with Koodo assist before you can talk to someone what a waste of time i drive a Semi i have to pull over log in to my koodo account then deal with dumb questions before i can request a callback only what a waste of time. When they do call you back most can not speak english properly hard to understand.I have already moved one line to Fido will take the other one next week tired of bad service.

Don't contact to Koodo super bad customer service

Super amazing fantastic awesome bad customer service.recent used Koodo plan with my wife.first time auto withdrew $119.after one year $129.and more a few month $141. So that I was contacted Koodo assist chat. somebody #$@$@##$# and solution ...hahaha tracker service .and other fee auto withdrawal from my bank account total $100. One time $35 Indian guy took my money $66.00 I never received help by him.but he taken my money.koodo super bad. .

Has absolutely no customer service you…

Has absolutely no customer service you cannot even contact them only has virtual chatbot. If you request a call back it's a non-good English speaking person who cannot help you. Their network or 4G is so slow, the cost foe their service you rather go elsewhere.

Dishonest company

Dishonest company. They hide charges in areas of their website that are not applicable to your situation so you don't look to see that you'll be charged for something. Very tricky/dishonest and they refuse to resolve the issue and threaten to affect your credit if you don't pay their erroneous charges. Then they cut off services but keep charging for services. Had my bill go from $400 to over $1,500 WITHOUT ANY USAGE WHATSOEVER! Would NOT recommend to use this company.

Worst experience ever.

Worst experience ever.
Have been paying my bill as usual after Koodo bought out PC mobile and I get an arrears letter then a collection agency letter. Turns out the Koodo bill they sent has a PC mobile account number. Now ask where is my money, I’m told to call PC ( number is out of service)!
I’ve been going back and forth with Koodo and trying with PC. Calling, email and their stupid live chat. They won’t take responsibility and they won’t give me my money plus I now have bad mark on my credit report.
Horrible horrible company.
Negative 10 is what they deserve.

0 star for this scam, please be vary of roaming charges. I was charged almost 300$ for 5 min usage in a different country. Those 5 minutes included a 2 min call and less than 3 min of whatsapp use. Upon coming back to Canada koodo reps were of no use. They disconnected my phone 3 times and charged 50$ reconnection fee in 3 month period even tho I made 100$ payment plan to be paid towards my bill every month, yet my phone kept getting disconnected every 2 weeks and these scammers kept adding 50$ to my bill. I'm finally moving to another provider today and never wanna deal with koodo again.

I wish I had read these reviews before…

I wish I had read these reviews before signing up with them. The first phone we ordered on a tab basic plan was broken, then the next phone we got had to be a tab mid to make sure its battery wouldn't be useless, but what I didn't know was that with the tab mid, I would not be able to reduce my son's plan back to a basic text talk no data plan. AND even after I paid off my tab balance, I couldn't get back to the basic plans, unless I paid off the unseen "tab bonus" of $250. Basically, it's like having to pay off a contract with the carrier to switch to a new carrier ... even though you're just trying to get to the cheaper plan for that carrier. Arghhh.

Honestly the worse telecommunications…

Honestly the worse telecommunications company I have ever dealt with. To contact them is near impossible, had to call thru telus and be transfered. Service area is subpar at best. Sold me a 5g phone unable to connect to their 5g.

When I finished my contract, there was 0 effort in retaining me as a customer. Essentially told me to go to another company which I'm gladly doing so.
