A symbol that is an arrow pointing down towards what seems to be water just came on today! What does this mean?

Sounds like either the low coolant light or low washer fluid light. With the engine cold, check your coolant level in the reservoir and also in the radiator, and add antifreeze as necessary.

Square red box w down arrow w ripples is low coolant,when you check it do so cold,if full level sensor is needing replaced.
Where the torque converter solenoide is located saturn L300 2002
I have a 2001 saturn l300, coolant appears and stays on. The radiator not leaking, the reservoir was full then took the cap off n it overflows, now it seems empty. Light still on.
None of the above answers worked for making my coolant light turn off. But, will too little antifreeze keep the light on? Does it have an antifreeze level, or does it just recognize the difference in the water for chemical difference?
