PUBG is not just a game, it is an addiction. I am not a very big game lover, but PUBG is an exception. I haven’t played many games in the past and PUBG is one of the rare games that I play. I will have to admit that this game is super cool. I run PUBG on my Android device and runs very smoothly.
The South Koren company Bluehole has done an exceptional job of creating such an extraordinary game – PUBG. It is available for almost every platform including Xbox, iOS, Android, and Microsoft Windows. So, this should not be an excuse for anyone not playing PUBG.
Today, I woke up early in the morning to go to work. As I was on my way to work, I thought of playing PUBG. I launched it on my Android device but unfortunately, it didn’t go through. It took a lot of time loading the game and then a pop up came with the following error message:
Server did not respond. Please return to the login page and try again.
I tried to relaunch the game but landed on the same error. Out of curiosity, I also restarted my device but that didn’t help either. If you are also getting PUBG Server did not respond error, you will surely get the right assistance here. This is because I too faced the same error and that too today only.
How to fix PUBG Server did not Respond Error
In this section, you will get all you need to fix PUBG Server did not respond error.
Method 1: Check your Internet Connection
This error clearly means that the game is not able to connect to the PUBG Servers. Now there can be two reasons for that:
- Your internet connection is not working.
- PUBG servers are down.
So, it is better on our part to verify if we have a strong internet connection up and running. For that, you can see the following checklist.
- Make sure you have turned on WiFi or Mobile Data (whatever you are using).
- Verify if your internet connection is working by opening any web page or sending a message to your friend on WhatsApp or Instagram.
- Try switching from Mobile Data to WiFi, if available, to have stronger internet connectivity.
If you have all these things working, then there is nothing wrong at your end and you should probably look at the second method.
Method 2: Check PUBG Server Status
As I was very curious to play PUBG on my phone, I ignored one of the messages from PUBG that was telling me that PUBG mobile will be down for the maintenance work. The exact message was something like this:
PUBG MOBILE will be taken offline for maintenance from 00:00:00 to 08:00:00 (UTC) on July 23rd. Service may resume sooner or later depending on maintenance progress.
Follow our Facebook page or Twitter for more information.
PUBG MOBILE Team.
This message clearly states that PUBG MOBILE will not be accessible during the specified time. Please note that the time is in the UTC zone. You need to manipulate this timing according to your timezone. For example, PUBG mobile will not be accessible in India from 05:30 AM to 1:30 PM.
Check PUBG Mobile Facebook and Twitter Page
This might be also possible that you may not be getting any notice prior to the maintenance or the PUBG MOBILE servers are down unintentionally. For this, you can check their Facebook page and Twitter for any such information. We have given the links to the PUBG MOBILE Facebook page and Twitter below:
PUBG MOBILE official Facebook Page
PUBG Mobile Twitter
The sole reason for PUBG Server did not respond to the error is this only. There is nothing wrong with your Internet connectivity or device. There is nothing wrong at your end and hence you cannot do anything.
So, all you can do is to wait for the PUBG MOBILE to come up, and then you can start playing PUBG. Right now, I am also waiting and after approximately 3 hours, you will find me playing PUBG. Enjoy the game. Cheers.
