Westminster Kingsway College

WKC offers academic and vocational courses at all levels for 16 to 18 year olds and adult learners, including BTECs, A-Levels, apprenticeships, foundation degrees, higher education, distance learning, employability training and short courses.

The college encourages applications from students with special educational needs or disabilities and provides access and a high quality learning experience for all. It offers three different types of provision for students with learning disabilities or difficulties (LDD):

  • A range of courses for students with learning difficulties or disabilities are offered at the King’s Cross Centre with programmes leading to accredited qualifications and pathways for independent living, employment and essential skills.
  • Kennet West Skills Centre – this Centre in Westminster is an exciting new vocational skills Centre for students with learning difficulties and disabilities at the Queen Elizabeth II School, in conjunction with Westminster City Council. The Centre delivers vocational courses and work-related opportunities for 16-25 year old students with LDD.
  • Alexandra Centre – Camden Council and Westminster Kingsway College offer provision for young people aged 16 to 25 with severe and complex needs that is delivered year round in this newly refurbished Centre in Camden.
