Having shopped around for my yearly car…

Having shopped around for my yearly car insurance I received LVs quote which was favourable to me.
As a 68yo driver with 50 years driving experience and no fault claims ever I couldn’t believe how car insurance premiums are increasing at over 20% per year. This is happening every year. I’ll definitely watch for a reasonable premium next year on renewal.

Super easy to take out a new Policy…

Super easy to take out a new Policy after my existing insurer withdrew from the car insurance market. Very impressed too with their customer service when I had a problem (of my own making!) to resolve.

We had a no fault car accident on 12th…

We had a no fault car accident on 12th April 24, at 16.40. On return from hospital we contacted lv to advise of a claim. By 13.00 the following day (a Saturday!) we had a hire car, and our car was collected on the Monday morning, and by the following Monday a decision on the repairs had been made, and the car written off. Solicitors were also arranged and claims started, and physiotherapists and Dr's also arranged. Everything was such a whirlwind, and everyone has been so kind, friendly and helpful to us, we can not thank lv enough.

Easy to obtain a quote

Easy to obtain a quote; extras well explained & comprehensive, so simple to tailor the cover required. Quote saved online, so accessible.
Not so good: told that quote would be forwarded by email, but it was not. It was not possible to access account & therefore quote from abroad (foreign IP address); would be helpful to give a warning of this.

Easy to arrange Insurance on line

Easy to arrange Insurance on line. No negative issues other than seeming idiocy of having to cancel one Motor policy with LV to buy another policy (exactly the same) for £140.00 cheaper!

Huge, efficient and immediate support from LV

Great experience with both LV Insurance + their buiding contractor DNH [in the SW], with what could have been a serious issue.
Winter storms displaced a very large wall overnight with risk to life. No quibble support from LV within hours and DNH had building contractors sorting within days.
Huge support + efficiency by both. Thank you.

Recently took out car insurance via…

Recently took out car insurance via compare the market, very easy and quick. The following day we had a dreadful experience when one half of our patio windows went bang and shattered. Our home insurance is with Lv, and the service I have received from them has been excellent. After ringing them with all the details, I was told they would have someone to speak to me and arrange to inspect the doors, I was given a phone number in case I wanted to speak to them at any time and the following day everything happened as I was told.Very very impressed

The sad part of all these "reviews" is…

The sad part of all these "reviews" is that the wuestions are loaded in favour of a good report. There is no place for a true discussion which gives oportunity to put the "personal" aspect.
Sadly, everything is reduced to ticking the boxes/stars/whathaveyou! Business is business: the individual is only a means of getting it!

Excellent value for money

Really easy to use website meant that the quote process was straightforward. The price was 25% lower than my renewal quote for the same level of cover which was much appreciated. Payment and confirmation was all handled seamlessly with cover confirmation received within minutes.

They have blamed their costs increasing! Good excuse, except one thing.
A rival company has provided a cheaper quote for the same cover. It's actually cheaper than LV previous years quote!!!!

My advice is shop around, and don't believe the waffle.

Again, no customer service.

Almost a week has passed since my last complaint on this platform and I haven't received any kind of contact from LV, nor even an email or message, even after doing what I was told to do.

It's been 2 months since I've acquired a life insurance with this company and I still haven't heard back from them after they said they needed to further investigate my case with my GP before proceeding. I've sent emails to 4 different email addresses so far but haven't heard back from the company.

As a customer, between 1-5 stars, how did I do?

The price was cheaper than any other right now. God only knows how having 24 years no claims, front and rear dash cams, parking in a secure car park for daytime and a locked garage at night can cause my premium to RISE SO RIDICULOUSLY!! It’s a shame my purse can’t be secured as much as my car, maybe it would be harder to plunder!!
