Maharashtra: 72% MSEDCL consumers pay bills online
Nearly 72% of consumers of state power discom, MSEDCL, pay monthly bills online, a statement issued on Friday mentioned.

MUMBAI: Nearly 72% of consumers of state power discom, MSEDCL, pay monthly bills online, a statement issued on Friday mentioned.
This includes high-end consumers among whom 98% prefer to pay the bills online.
Said a MSEDCL spokesperson. "About seven years back, the number of online payments was negligible. However, the numbers picked up and increased significantly during Covid pandemic when many were confined at home.
He added, those paying online get 0.25% discount upto Rs 500.
