I knew that when we went to online for the remainder of this semester, it was going to be rough. We barely heard from him. Sent out the exams as announcements on blackboard, with no guidance on how to submit. Also sent the 2nd exam without teaching anything. Said textbook wasn't necessary at the beginning, then changed his mind. Nice guy tho

take this teacher, I have had him for beggining macroeoconomics and international finance. The test are take home, easy tests, theres class assignments before each of the 3 tests that are an easy 100. His lectures all come from online and his tests. Out of the economic professors at this school he is my favorite!

He is great. Really funny if you listen carefully. He is very knowledgeable on Economics and loves when you ask questions or answer his. Those who participate will find the class goes by a lot faster. He does favor early morning classes though.

This class was challenging however Dr. Weipang made himself available via text and during office hours. I would request extra problems to practice and he would correct them for me. I met with him every week prior to the exam where he dedicated his time to go over "exactly" what I need to know/understand. He works with you and wants you to pass.
Professor Wei-Pang is a tenured professor that seems to not care about his online students. I have not had him for a brick and mortar class so I can not speak to that. His online classes usually consist of 3 assignments and 3 exams that he sends out via email. He does not use Blackboard for assignment distribution or submission. He is terrible at responding to students making online classes tough if you need help. If you have a seamless experience and don't need any help and he does not "lose your assignment" in his inbox, then it's an easy A. If something goes wrong, then you will want to pull your hair out for weeks trying to get in touch with him. He does not care for students. One student in our class sent out an email to the entire class asking if anyone had heard from him because he had not emailed her back in over a week. I have had the same experience with emailing him. It is like pulling teeth making the online class difficult. He does not follow a schedule and seems to email out the assignments whenever he feels like it. I can not recommend anyone take a class with Wei-Pang. Only take his class if you have no other choice. Avoid!
