my son was enrolled in connections academy for this current school year 2021-2022 he is in the 8th grade. we moved to ******* for my husband job. I contacted the school to let them know we had moved because my son needed supplies and books for his classes. When I spoke to them they told me "unless your son lays his head down in Minnesota he can no longer attend school here" so then you would think he would be transfer to connections academy for Georgia but i was told they couldn't do that and as of march 18th my son was unenrolled. This means that my son cannot finish out the school year and now will have to repeat the 8th grade. tell me when we stopped caring about a child's education because his parents had to move to support the family.I would like this to be fixed no child left behind was always my understanding, our kids are the future and i huge part of that is education and how to treat other so that we can raise good humans how is this setting any sort of example. We relied on this school and they failed my son. I will not stop until this problem is resolved and my son can move to the next grade like everyone else. Disappointed is any understatement.
