Rip off prices

Visited cinema to buy £5.99 tickets as have done several times and told tickets now £10.99 but cheaper online! As film was Super Screen charge is £2.50 PER CODE added to ticket price!!! Was buying 6 tickets so extra £7.50. Told could use Meerkat code online. Tried to book tickets but website kept saying error and wouldn't accept Meerkat code. Sent email and initially got a reply asking film/cinema details then nothing so couldn't buy tickets. Customer service is a waste of time. Not the only person unable to use code on dreadful website according to X yet website states you can use Meerkat codes. Maybe Martin Lewis can help????
No wonder the cinema is having financial troubles. Avoid unless you want to get fleeced.

Reyna was serving us in Enfield…

Reyna was serving us in Enfield Cineworld and she was soo rude giving us attitude. I asked her a question and she made me and my friends look soo dumb. I’m not happy with her and the customer service she has given to us. On top of that another lady was raising her voice at us when we couldn’t go and watch the film with food we got from outside. I wouldn’t come here again.

Expensive and disappointing experience at Cheltenham

I’m not sure why I bother going to the cinema anymore. After being fleeced for water and popcorn (£5.80 for the teeniest bag), we sat down to watch the Amy Winehouse biopic - Back to Black. We strained to see the movie, with the picture being so dark, washed out and with poor detail. It just felt like you were watching a cheap HD TV from 15 years ago with the lights on. My home TV produces better black levels, contrast and detail. I suspect the technology is just old and cineworld is not investing in new.

AVOID PARKING at all costs at Cineworld…

AVOID PARKING at all costs at Cineworld St Neots!! After a recent job loss and car accident we thought we would treat ourselves to a cinema trip to relieve the stress. Never again!! We were 6 minutes over our paid parking... yes 6 minutes... and now I have had to pay over £260 in parking charges. I will go to a cinema that cares about its patrons. Utterly disgusted. Be warned...

Great local cinema

No complaints about my local Cinema in Dundee. Clean, tidy, friendly staff and these days usually fairly quier.

The onlide side lets it down a little, with the app occasionally problematic and customer service not great.

Double the price for a ticket in cinema vs online total rip off

Visited Cineworld Shrewsbury on a Wednesday evening as the offer was advertised as £5:99 Monday to Wednesday. Charged £10:99 queried price and was told prices fluctuate per movie . Checked online and the price was £5:99 complained to manager at the cinema and was given the same explanation.

Stupid cinema

They wouldn’t let my daughter son in even though they are 15. They got clarification from the parents however, the workers still didn’t let them in. My kids also shown their passport but they said it was fake. Fuming! 😡

I went to the Feltham Cineworld branch and didn’t have my unlimited card which was my fault and saw told by the guy checking the tickets he cannot let me in and said if I pay for new tickets and contact customer services they will refund the money when contacting customer service the people there don’t know English and rudely denied the refund saying their terms and conditions. I will not be using Cineworld again

Cineworld in Whiteley disappointing

Went to Cineworld in Whiteley, Hampshire today to see Dune Part Two and was very disappointed with the projection and sound experience. I had already seen this movie at Vue in Camberley which was a fantastic visual and audio experience. I told my son how good it was so we agreed to go see it in Whiteley, which is where he lives. It was not the same experience at all, the screen looked washed out, they had ceiling lights left on through the whole viewing and the sound quality wasn’t a patch on Vue in Camberley. Annoying thing is, they also charged more than Vue in Camberley. Clearly, not all cinemas are the same quality so I shall watch out for that in the future.

Checked Ts and Cs before I traded up my…

Checked Ts and Cs before I traded up my Natwest Rewards for Cineworld vouchers. Website blank. Thought this was all fine but no. Apparently I needed to check under a completely irrelevant section about Mother's Day to see the exclusion. My voucher and film are NOTHING to do with Mother's Day. Customer Service on phone shouted at me and email complaints just go to the same robotic Customer Service Team. I am now left with vouchers Cineworld will not let me use.

Interrupted view in IMAX

They advertise having the bigger IMAX screen, what they don't say is no all the rows has the benefits to be higher enough compare with the next row to enjoy the movie without interruption of the person in front head. I could notice almost all the row are ok, but the last one on the top is not, but the price is the same, and damaged our experience. They should at least add a warning

Total and utter rip off

Total and utter rip off. Greedy greedy greedy. No wonder the cinema is dying. The movie was superb but totally ruined by feeling so scammed. Ended up very thirsty and hungry as couldn’t afford £5.80 for a tiny bag of popcorn and the water prices ££££££. I can no longer afford to go to the cinema. Shameful

Shout out to Nathan at Birstall

Shout out to Nathan at Birstall. He was so helpful, sorting out my request to change my tickets to an earlier time, serving food for my 3 year old and making sure that we were happy with everything. He is a credit to Cineworld.

Shocking customer service from the call…

Shocking customer service from the call centre, was told managers in the call centre don't take calls when customers want to escalate. I was left on hold and also hung up on multiple times. I was told bank statements are not proof I went to the cinema and if I want to appeal a parking ticket I'd need to request the CCTV from the cinema. It's ridiculous. Very uncaring and unhelpful.

Beware UNLIMITED membership

Beware, UNLIMITED membership is easy to sign up for online, but really hard to cancel - you can't do this online! You have to wait for a long time on the phone, or email them directly. The information on how to do this is also NOT easy to find. Nasty cheap attitude - don't these people understand that a brand is built on service, and customers aren't stupid?

Entered Leisure Exchange Carpark, Bradford at 18.37.
Validated ticket at Cineworld after watching film but still charged to exit the carpark 21.28
I thought validating the ticket would ensure free parking???

Worst experience ever

I visited the Bury St Edmunds Cineworld last night and forgot my hat and gloves next to my seat when I left. I tried calling the Cinema but there is no direct telephone for the cinema, only Cineworld head office. They said they would send an email to the cinema and get back to me, 7 hours later still no reply. Just spoke to them again and after much arguing they put me on hold and contacted Cineworld in Bury St Edmunds who told them they did not find my hat and gloves. How is this possible when I know they were left there, I gave them the screen number, the seat number and the film time. Cineworld offer no customer service, no care for their customers and make it impossible to contact them.
