HOWTO: Change Availability

So I know that this website can be really confusing- especially to new hires. I thought I’d try to help out and make a walk through showing how to do a few things on it!

Sign in:

Once you go to my.anfcorp.com, you will be brought to this page. Now you are probably thinking, ‘what the heck is my user ID and password?!’.

If you are a new hire, your User ID and Password are the same.

Your User ID is your Associates #, which should be somewhere on your associates card (my manager wrote mine on my card for me).

Time & Attendance:

After you’ve successfully logged into the website, there is a section called Time & Attendance. You will most likely be using those the most. It’s fairly self explanatory from here, “My Schedule" is your schedule, and “My Availability" is your availability.

Availability:

Changing your availability is what’s most confusing to people. It must be done at least a week in advance, and can only be done up to 6 weeks in the future. Once you click “My Availability", you will be brought to a screen that shows your current availability, and a section for availability change.

  • Date: this one is obvi, click the calendar and choose the date you want to make a ACR (availability change request) for!
  • Day Of Week: ditto ^
  • Availability Type: Permanent: You can change permanent any time you want though, so don’t be alarmed. For example, say this week you make it permanent that you can only work on Mondays and keep it like this for a month and then want to change it. You do an ACR for the upcoming week that you want to change and make it permanent that you can only work Tuesdays. Basically the point of permanent is—you don’t have to keep changing it every week. Temporary: If the change is just for the specific day you pick—it overrides the ‘Permanent’ availability. But only for THAT day!
  • ACR Type: Are you free all day, at a certain time, or not at all. Any: You can work ANY hours that day. If you click that the “Start" and “End" time will automatically say 6:00 AM - 6:00 AM (or whatever that is in Military) and your “Duration” will be 24. Specify: You pick the start and end time. But the duration has to be at least 5 hours. So, once you click “specify", you will be allowed to type in your specific hours into the “Start" and “End" time boxes. Once you do that, your “duration" should automatically be filled out and you can hit save. ***If that doesn’t work, and it still says 0 and the save button isn’t clickable (example VVV)image

[my times aren’t military because I changed them. But my.anfcorp automatically makes them military if you’re new so don’t worry about it and just type in your times as military]

(this is what happens on my computer I have NO idea why), under the ACR drop down box, just hit the drop down arrow AGAIN, and the “Duration" box should be filled out and you should be able to click save. imageNone: You can’t work at all that day. If you click that, the “Start" and “End" time will automatically say 6:00 AM - 6:00 AM (or whatever that is in Military) and your “Duration” will be 0.
  • Start Time and End Time: You fill these out yourself.
  • Duration (Hours): This should be filled out automatically. If it isn’t, refer to my ‘ACR’ para above and it will explain how to fix it.

Those should show up by your specific ACR. If it is a check, your manager approved it. If it’s a question mark, they haven’t gotten to it yet. But I wouldn’t worry about this too much.
  • image
You hit cancel if you want to cancel your specific ACR request (obviously I guess), the + if you wan to add another one, and - if you started one (didn’t hit save yet) and want to get rid of it. If you hit cancel remember to hit ‘save’ so it actually cancels it!
  • Save: DON’T FORGET TO SAVE YOUR ACRs! the Save button is at the bottom of the page.
