Just wondering, anyone else here opted in (by the checkbox under account administration) to be notified of results by SMS?

I had selected this method for the September session but the message never arrived at midnight as it should have so I had to wait till the following morning to go online and view the results.

Just had a look at my details to make sure my mobile number was entered correctly for results in January and it is correct.

Are there problems depending on what mobile provider you're using by any chance?

Check if the box is still ticked, I usually get mine fine by text. If this was already done, I'm not too sure what could be the problem. You could try contacting ACCA asap as there is usually a cut off for ensuring this. Usually 4/5 days before the results are due out.

OP, I have found that receiving results by text to be hit and miss. On occasions I have gotten my results bang on midnight, some a few days later and even once I never got the text. I usually just end up checking my email for my results. It tends to be a lot quicker.

Where do you go to opt in for email receipt of results?

I went to the communications section on myACCA but the only option is to receive by text- which I'd prefer not to.

I think that they are automatically emailed to you if you choose to receive results by text, just in case you don't receive the text. But I could be wrong on this.

Just to update this thread, I still never received results by either e-mail or text for the December session. No doubt the March session results out next month won't be sent either.

You should try contact ACCA about this and see if there are any kinds of issues with your account. It must be frustrating to pick the option and not be able to get them via text. I can never log onto the website on the day of results.
