Important - New Email Password Requirements

Dear Antietam Broadband Internet Customer,

In order to enhance security of your email and thereby reduce the chances of your email account being accessed without your knowledge, Antietam Broadband has strengthened the requirements for email account passwords. If one or more of your current Myactv.net email addresses is using a password that will not meet our enhanced password requirements outlined below, you must take action now!

Starting Friday, January 31st, 2014, all email accounts that do not have a password adhering to our new password requirements will be locked out until the password is changed.

Please note that this will only affect email accounts that do not currently have a password using the requirements below.

NEW EMAIL PASSWORD REQUIREMENTS:

• At least eight characters in length
• No more than 12 characters in length
• Contain at least one number [0-9] character
• Contain at least one special character from: @#$%^*~-=_+[]\{}:,./?
• Contain at least one upper-case and lower-case letter
• Cannot match the account login name or email address
