eBay Glitch - Users Can't Log in, Problems with My eBay

So far, no problems for me but I've been signed in all day - haven't logged off and tried to log back on. Don't think I'll try it either!

I was able to log in.

Ironic since I won't sell, list or buy.

eBay has been bragging that they don't need to cool their computers and servers, so they have been running them at higher temperatures.

eBay is GREEN!

Just another typical day on John Donahoe's ebafia.

Their new servers run at the speed of the model T Ford.

How many buyers zap over to Amazon when it takes 90 seconds for one of John Donahoe's green servers to load one page?

Above ground, uncooled servers in Phoenix.

This is one reason why they're penalizing sellers for post sale communications through the ebay system.

I am a business seller & had some auctions finishing last night. I got no bids between 8 pm & 8.25   even though I had between 20 & fifty watchers on some & I could not access the site either at that time.  I feel that Ebay has not fulfilled its obligations to auction the items as potential buyers were not able to access the site.  Luckily I did not have any items sell really cheaply, I just have to relist some again.  But must have cost some sellers a FORTUNE in lost bids.  It is even more annoying as business sellers do not get free listings!!!

I also experienced the effects of eBay's poor programming, poor oversight, poor management, and poor testing. Although everything appears to be working fine now, it was certainly a BIG stumbling block for me as I tried to use the (normally slow) weekend to update all of my listings so that they are now in compliance with eBay's latest directives.

What a dysfunctional company! Who has the TIME to deal with this nonsense. It's difficult enough to have to keep updating listings without additional roadblocks. With the deadline fast approaching, one might think that eBay would WAIT to make changes that can cripple our efforts. (Or at the very least... even if the program changes are supposed to help us... they should TEST TEST TEST before they go live with these changes.)

Except for the fact that eBay is a great way for me to DIRECT and DIVERT customers to my own web site, this place would hardly be worth the time at all. (I can only imagine what a nightmare it is for the folks who rely SOLELY on eBay as their SINGLE venue. Ugh!)

I wasn't able to relist last night without losing the gallery pics. I had to go through TurboLister to get it to work properly. What a pain...

This has been a regular occurrence on ebay.com.au. We have been having a similar problem here for more than 7 months. If you want to watch an item you have to log in EVERYTIME. Needless to say as a seller this is totally not on we are losing customers due to all this time wasting. As a buyer forget it I don't have time to waste either. You are also not on your own over there when it comes to loading pages, my pet tortoise moves quicker. eBay take all their fees but why don't we get compensation for all the site technical difficulties we have to put up with everyday. In OZ we don't even get promo free listing days let alone reimbursement of fees for for eBay’s technical incompetence.

Anyone having problems with ebay Australia. More often than not I am unable to sign in, on the occasions that I have I've not been able to get any further.  I have been a buyer for over a year and had intended to start selling but I am wondering if it is worth the problems as I have been having ebay 'issues' for a few days now.

I can get to eBay, but when I go to sign in I continuously get the message... Internet Explorer has stopped working. Windows will close the page and notify you if there is a solution.  I have cleaned my temp files/cache/cookies,ran a virus scan... other suggestions or a fix?
