New account and Netmarble Launcher

Hello,
I wanted to restart so I delete my old account (linked to Steam) to remake one, but NM Launcher says it now:

"We're having trouble connecting to the internet.
Please make sure you are connected to the internet and try again."

How to fix it? Thanks.

This is an error I ran into as well. Until we can get an official answer, my advice is this:

Uninstall the version through Steam. And then going through the main site, download District 187's full install here (http://d187.netmarble.com/download/)

Create another account, login, and start the game. You should be good to go.

If it's a name-change you're only after, consider purchasing the name-change item with NetmarbleCash, in-game. It's simple, and also helps support the developers.

This is directly related to deleting an account. Unfortunately it appears to be spitting out the wrong error. Basically each Steam ID can only ever be linked to 1 Netmarble ID. If you delete your Netmarble ID you will never be able to unlink the Steam ID (I say never but we are working on a way to do this, however the release date for that isn't until Q3 2013 so... it will be a while).
