The perfect example of customer service.

Ren - the IONOS operative I spoke to - was polite, efficient, answered all my questions clearly; doing everything possible to help me with my call. I could not fault anything. He was the perfect example of customer service and I left happy and with my problem solved. I wish all of my interactions with customer services could be as good as this one.

Be more like Adam 🙏🏽

My call was answered very quickly by Adam, he was friendly, polite, professional and made me cancelling my domain contract so quick and easy. No sales bumph or ‘read the small print’ just straight forward amazing customer service. He has made me want to go back to IONOS if needed in the future. So refreshing to receive this kind of service.

Neze was extremely helpful in helping…

Neze was extremely helpful in helping me set up the two factor authentication! She was very patient, polite and supportive till the very end, despite me having to logon a couple of times, as the App somehow did not allow the notifications to be shown, even though they were enabled in my Settings.

Truly and sincerely grateful to her for all her support !😂😁👍

Superb customer support

I have been with IONOS since 2006 (when they were still called 1and1) and have always found them brilliant.

I have retired and haver been putting off the painful issue of deleting 20 years of online presence and downgrading to a simple single page package.
When I finally plucked up the courage to tackle the job the tangle of hosting packages, domains and sites I'd amassed over nearly 20 years was overwhelming so I called them for some help.

My agent today was Rachel Tetlow who was absolute brilliant.
She was really patient with me, helped me through parts of the process that I was having trouble with and went out of her way to help me achieve the best possible solution to my current needs.

It was really wonderful to encounter a warm, compassionate and professional human as the contact point for a tech company.

All tech companies need a Rachel Tetlow - Give that woman a rise!

Very helpful issue resolved by Nadim

Very helpful, my issue resolved quickly.
I had a problem with an old domain that I had forgotten about and couldn't log in to old account. Messaged for help on X and issue was resolved within a couple of days by Nadim thanks.

I have been impressed with the services…

I have been impressed with the services team's knowledge and help while designing my website, and I am pleased with the results.

Yesterday I had an issue with the number of packages and payments being paid. I spoke with Tyla and he sorted everything out... concealed what needed canceling... refunded what needed refunding and suggested a combined package for the future.

All of this was done with a friendly but professional tone which I appreciated.

Fantastic customer service!

I struggled to find two of my domains, so I asked to call back. The consultant "Mary Mae" called me very soon after asking to do so. She spent plenty of time going through my account and carefully checked my account and very quickly answered my enquiry. She was very patient, polite, professional and knowledgeable, so I am really satisfied to get this service today.

Best Customer Service.

I personally think calling customer service takes too long and I wish I could just do it all myself. However, calling ionos is so much easier and they connect you with an agent really quickly. So far I've spoken to many different agents in Ionos and they have all been the absolute best. Always give me the answers i need with a good attitude and fast response.

Amy was incredible!

Amy was amazing from start to finish, not only did she resolve my issue quickly and efficiently she has been the friendliest member of Ionos I have had the pleasure of dealing with. On Occasion you can feel almost like your dealing with a robot at the other end of the phone or computer - Amy however was the complete opposite . Fantastic

Great tech support, poor antispam

Great tech support on the phone! At other companies I'm used to long wait times, awful muzak, and then 'computer says no' type of unhelpful staff who forget what problem I'm trying to resolve - so I tend to rely on email. BUT the exception is IONOS, email does work but they prefer phone and it works well, they answer quickly, are friendly and technically competent, and happy to spend time going through various options to resolve any problems.

However, the email antispam measures are not great - every hour more messages arrive from marketexec, nedoma, thehub/theohub, kmhmedia, etc., even though I flag them all as spam (in the IONOS Webmail system) and even create special rules to catch them - all to no avail.

Been using IONOS for 5 years

Been using IONOS for 5 years. Never had any issues outside of my price rising recently as I am not on a fixed contract, spoke to support and they quickly changed it and offered a month free. No downtime and great support, will continue to use - thanks Richard B for being so helpful.

Rachel and her colleague

Rachel and her colleague -
I wanted to cancel the unused domain hosting contracts along with data cleanse on my dashboard. I was being tended to immediately and the customer service call was concluded within 10 minutes. Amazing service! Highly recommend.

Scam

I never agreed to any contract with this company. They just took over my google websites - I never agreed with anything and I was forced into illegally. I had no option to move my websites to another place or to cancel my subscription. Now they have changed my google initial contract agreement without my consent. Illegal . Do not work with this company

Upon reviewing your account, it appears that you only had an Instant domain with us which was recently renewed. Upon contacting us, we cancelled it as per your request.

Don't fall for bullying tactics

Seems to think their terms and conditions supersede UK law - they don't.

IONOS involves debt collection agencies when you legally and rightfully cancel your contract.

Don't be fooled, don't let them strongarm you into paying invoices after you have cancelled the contract - know your rights. My "debt" was waived as a "gesture of goodwill" when in reality it's because IONOS know they can't get you to legally pay it. Lowest of the low behaviour, really.

I repeat - DO NOT LET THEM FORCE YOU INTO PAYING, KNOW YOUR RIGHTS

Fantastic service

I had a number of issues that needed resolving and Colin sorted them all out for me. There was no queue for the call and on the one occasion I lost my signal he called me straight back. Very quick and efficient and super helpful.

Excellent Support & Service

I spoke to several members of the team today including Dan and Colin in the Customer Care Team. I had several reasons for the call all of which were supported efficiently and effectively. I lost the call as my phone died and the moment it was charged I received a phone call straight back so we could continue the conversation. Excellent service

I bought a domain name and set up an…

I bought a domain name and set up an email address. Had problems receiving emails. Called up and the Indian call centre were useless. Turns out if you push and push they’ll put you through to an American call centre and that is much better. The American sorted my problem out straight away. Turns out if you have a bespoke website the developer needs to update a MX code. IONOS should provide you with the MX code. - good luck if you have the same problem as me. Lost me money and customers this problem and took about 4 hrs to deal with them.

Highly recommend IONOS

What I like about Ionos as a webhosting company is that you can speak to them on the phone quite easily. They help you with issues and guide you through any processes you might need to do. Duane Harold today helped me update my SPF record when my Google Mail stopped sending emails.
