It shouldn't take me calling everyday for 4 days straight to get a technician out to take a look at my fridge that wasn't cooling. The representatives were all pretty rude when I would call and check the status, only 1 of the 7 I spoke with were actually helpful and gave me follow up call with information. My fridge was out for 8 days before someone finally came out to look at it. I was as patient as I could possibly be but it the urgency ORHP showed was pretty disappointing. My renewal was this month and the price went up significantly but I highly doubt any of their services improved, customer service included. Super disappointing company to work with.

WE HAD THIS FOR 6 YRS ONLY TIRED USING IT 2 TIMES BOTH TIMES WE WERE GIVE THE RUN AROUND AN TOLD OUR A/C WOULD NOT BE REPLACED WITH THE SAME KIND IT WOULD BE REPLACED WITH A UNIT THAT WAS DISCONTINUED!
NEEDLESS TO SAY WE DECLINED, THEN WHEN I TRIED TO CANCEL THEY SAID I WOULD HAVE TO PAY THE ENTIRE BALANCE OF THE PREMIUM TO CANCEL! HORRIBLE COMPANY LIARS!

The company that was contacted to perform the work was very unsatisfactory. Called to try and resolve issue with both the company that “performed the work” and old republic. Both were customer service were horrible and had no interest in helping to resolve the issue. I will not be renewing my home warranty with home republic next month.

Plumber did not arrive for 3 days after the request was placed. By then the stoppage & smell had cleared. He would not do any diagnostics to identify the problem. We were charged for the service call even tho NO SERVICE WAS PROVIDED!! Currently disputing. This is not the first time this has happened. I would say this home warranty was definitely NOT worth the money!

I put in the request 5 days ago and still have not heard from them to schedule an appointment. When I called their number, no one answers and you can’t leave a message because it says their mailbox is full.

it's been about a month and my dishwasher is still not working. I called you guys and you supposed to call the contractor to give me an update and I haven't got an update yet. but the garage door guys that came out on the same day, they were awesome!....04/30/24 Sill no updates!!!

I called to submit a work order. The representative told me the service I requested wasn't covered and e-mail my declaration of coverage. After reading the document is clear to me the service should be covered. I'll call back to request the service again.

We used Shaffer & Sons to repair our Heating/AC motor. After setting up appointment with Old Republic to schedule Shaffer we set up a Shaffer call. They came in, diagnosed and fixed our problem. We only paid the co pay of $85 and no other fee was charged for this repair that would have been several hundred dollars. Old Republic Home Protection works and is worth it!

Awesome very efficient professional understood our needs…every time we called they were very helpful…When the first company couldn’t come until the next week.. they found someone who came the next morning…Thankful that I had the home warranty..because our homeowners insurance doesn’t cover plumbing issues…So if you don’t have home warranty this is the company I highly recommend… this was our second time having to use them….Great Service each time…
