Are you working from an off-site location and need access to Trinity Health resources?

Here you will find instructions on how to access Trinity Health resources such as Connect Portal (Remote Access), Workday, and Microsoft 365 products from off-site locations.

Step 1: Set Up Verification Method

The Microsoft Authenticator mobile application is Trinity Health’s approved verification method used for both multi-factor authentication (MFA) and self-service password reset (SSPR).

  • Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is required to securely access Trinity Health resources while working off-site. Once registered for MFA, you may receive a Microsoft Authenticator mobile app notification to approve your off-site sign-ins.
  • Self-service password reset (SSPR) is required to securely reset your Trinity Health password. When resetting your password using SSPR, you will receive a Microsoft Authenticator mobile app notification to verify your identity.

Password Requirements

  • Password expires every 180 days
  • Last 6 passwords cannot be reused
  • Minimum password length is 8 characters
  • Password cannot contain the colleague's name or user ID
  • Password must contain at least three of these four types of characters:
    • Upper case
    • Lower case
    • Numbers: 0 – 9
    • Special characters: ~!@#$%^&*_-+=`|\(){}[]:;"'<>,.?/ 
  • Password must not contain words or phrases from the banned password list (e.g., “password,” “Trinity,” “training,” “summer,” “welcome1,” etc.)
