P1FCU Scholarship Opportunity

LEWISTON - Do you know a high school senior preparing to graduate in 2022 who is also a P1FCU member? Time is running out to apply for a P1FCU Scholarship! P1FCU is accepting applications from until March 31, 2022.

For the 2022-23 school year, P1FCU will award fifteen $1,000 scholarships. Qualifications to apply are listed below.

  • 2022 high school graduate with a GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Acceptance as a full-time student at a college or university (must provide acceptance letter or other proof).
  • P1FCU primary member in good standing.

Applicants must also provide a copy of their resume, two letters of recommendation from a teacher, counselor or school official, and a copy of your transcripts (please include all college credits as well).

P1FCU asks that applicants also include a personal statement addressing your educational goals, future career plans, extra-curricular and/or community service involvement, how you have overcome adversity, and why you would like to be considered for a scholarship. Videos will also be accepted in place of a written personal statement. (Please submit video URL on the application.)

Winners of the P1FCU Scholarship Program are chosen by a committee that carefully assesses each individual’s academic performance, school involvement, and community commitment. Winners will be notified by mail an email on April 29, 2022.
