John H. Halleran

A 31-year veteran of the financial services industry, John founded Halleran Financial Group in the spring of 2007 when he moved his team from UBS Financial Services, where he was a Vice President of Investments and Retirement Plan Consultant. John's tenure with UBS stretched back 17 years with the majority of this time under its predecessor, PaineWebber, Inc.

John's vision for Halleran Financial Group includes providing investment advice and wealth planning through innovative strategies, experience and investment wisdom. John serves in the capacity of Equity and Fixed Income Portfolio Strategist , head of Portfolio Risk Management, Director of Retirement Plan Services and oversees Financial Planning Services.

John has lived in Rochester for over 50 years. He has spent many years coaching youth athletics and has held several board positions with local non-profit organizations. John currently serves on the board of the Golisano Children's Hospital. The Hallerans are active in multiple sports and enjoy biking, skiing, and boating. John and Laura live in Canandaigua. They have three adult children, Grant, Benjamin, and Grace.
