The payment methods Progressive accepts are credit cards, PayPal, online checks, personal checks, money orders, or electronic funds transfer (EFT) from a checking account. Some of these payment options might not be available in all situations or all states, however.
Progressive customers also have the option of paying premiums in monthly installments or as one lump sum. Choosing to pay up front may even result in discounts.
How to Pay Your Progressive Bill
Online: You can log in to Progressive’s customer service portal with your account information. Through this portal, you can review, pay for and manage your account.
Phone App: Progressive also provides an app through which you can manage your account and make payments. The app can be downloaded from your phone’s app store.
By Phone: In order to make a payment by phone, you can call Progressive’s toll-free automated phone payment system at 1-800-776-4737. The system accepts debit/credit card or checking account payments 24/7.
By Mail: You can send a check by mail to PO Box 984105, Los Angeles, CA 90189-4105 or as instructed on your bill.
By Text Message: You can send your payment using your cell phone’s messaging application.
Automatic Payments: You can set up automatic payments to be deducted regularly from your checking account. This can be done using the online portal, through the Progressive app, or by contacting an insurance agent by phone.
