Great support team!

Great support team!
My first usage of shipito - received a note that in some of the goods would be problematic to ship using the selected carrier, was given instant support; had another issue, this time with my pp account and again was given prompt support!
Overall, simply great and very responsive CS - I will definitely use your services again in the future!

Great service

Shipping was very quick, my package was well taken care of and arrived in good condition! The only downside is the price being a bit pricey, but given the service they’re offering, I do think it’s a reasonable price.

Everything went fine

I was looking for a gift for my wive. Not available on Amazon in EU, sold out on Amazon.com and the factory-sale only deliver within the US. So I found this company. It took about a 2 weeks and the parcel is at my place.

The system is for the most part great!

The system is for the most part great, unfortunately they can flag items incorrectly and is stressful to try and get it corrected. The instant chat support is the way to go to resolve issues, they were very clear and helpful!

Service offering has decayed to having minimal value

I have been a long term customer of shipito who is very disappointed with the recent service.

- I've been charged 4 sets of storage extension fees (which has never happened to me before (i'm sure i used to pay just an annual storage fee for my mailbox ?!)
- Packages seem to take days to update on your system forcing me to pay. these storage fees.
- The US Postal service ever seems to be an available option even though their site says it delivers to Australia
- I use to get lots of coupon offers but i haven't received one in years
- The shipito mail charges have significantly increased in costs disproportionately to actual freight rates from shippers

It's getting to the point were this service is not cost effective anymore.

Expensive shipping

Expensive shipping. I recall once you strived to provide a cheaper service and faster delivery, but now your own service is 1.5x more expensive than usps and slower and a bit more expensive than dhl.

Value for money is not as good as ot was..

I used to use them a lot in the past, however over time, the value eroded as prices went higher and higher.. i have a minimum of nearly 30usd to get a package shipped. I just paid 30$ to ship a plastic handle for a mailbox. Shipping an entirely new mailbox via amazon would have cost 20$.

Their service has always been good, value for money, not so much any more (ymmv).

Reliable and fast for shipping to Australia

Shipito do exactly what they say and it is easy to setup and use. I used Shipito for a parcel to Australia - the service was quick and had a range of provider/cost options. Overall I am very satisfied and would recommend it to others shopping online in the US.

Shipping rates are taken out of the blue. $66 vs real rate of €15 for the same provider (Austria Post). Murky explanation provided by Shipito did not explain the situation.

Love Shipito!

We ship quite a few international packages. Shipito is always prompt and helpful. DHL is expensive, but currently the only option to use for the areas where we ship.

The service options are really good

The service options are really good. Website easy to use. Cost is reasonable. Like the options to have photos of merchandise and also insurance. Need to improve tracking packages once they cross the border into Canada but overall everything arrived just a few days later than expected. Still a great way to get packages to Canada if the retailer or vendor will not send to Canada from US directly.

Great solution to buy worldwide.

Really useful to buy items that seller don't send worldwide or that it have high send prices or simply to buy worldwide. Easy, cheap and fast solution.

kind of an odyseey

i am totally unaware of what was happening to my package in each stage. ( usa > ger ) the backend is a terrible mess. a button over here - one message over there. when it comes to customs and you are a newbie you are in god's hands. still waiting for my goods. ( day 11 of "express" )

Beware of undisclosed charges

The response time to enquiries is slow. There’s no live chat. The postage charges when estimated are half of what you actually end up paying and there are several hidden fees/costs which are omitted at the estimation process. Be aware that these added costs plus your own country’s importation taxes and exchange rates, are likely to make your purchase cost more than it’s worth to ship.

Excellent Customer Care experience!

The Manager Mrs. Clair as usual is very polite and attentive regarding the fees charged for personal pickup. As usual I do appreciate the customer service and care with my letters at SHIPITO. Thanks.
