Permit sales for the 2025-26 academic year

Student permit sales for the 2025-26 academic year will open on July 1st.  Student must be registered for classes for at least 48 hours to access the system to order the permit. Permit fees are not paid on this website. They are paid on the students Tutition account on my.SMU.edu. Students and Employees

SMU NetID and password is required to purchase a Parking Permit or a DART Transit Pass online using this portal. You may also update your vehicle license plate number and permits.

Please Note:
 All permit fees and citation fees are posted to your my.SMU financial account, but you can use the parking portal to appeal your citation.

If you are an SMU department, use the SMU Department login to access your departmental account using your department account number and password.

Visitors and Guests

Whether you are just visiting campus, the Bush Center, or HPUMC, you will need a guest account to park on the SMU campus. The same goes for vendors and contractors.

Use the New Account button below to create your guest account. Once you have created an account you can use the Guest Login button to enter the parking portal to manage your account.

 If you are a new SMU vendor or contractor needing an account set up, please contact the Parking and ID Card Services Office at parking@smu.edu with your company info.
