Function/Examples of Work:
Serves as the Senior Data Scientist in support of SUNO’s Analytics initiatives by providing a lead role in developing, guiding, and implementing enterprise-level applied research and statistical analyses using a combination of traditional (e.g., hypothesis-testing) and modern (e.g., data mining) analytical frameworks and methodological techniques.
Salary: $80,000.00
Minimal qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral or Social Sciences or a related field and five (5) years of related data analysis experience, OR, any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
Preferred Qualifications: Ability to serve as a project lead for developing and successfully implementing enterprise-level predictive models to address strategic organizational needs; Familiarity with Banner / Blackboard data sources; Experience conducting data extraction and statistical modeling; Evidence of a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Computer Science, Statistical or related field.
