He will ask questions and make students participate. I do not why he tells us to use pencils instead of pens if he uses a pen when he lectures the notes. He says that he is not mean but he is mean because I use a pen for my notes and he saw I messed up and he told me that the mess that I did in the notes looks bad.

He goes by fast in the lectures. If you do not understand something or you are confused about something, make sure to stop him and ask. Go to office hours and attend all extra credit events! Over all, he is a great professor.

2 textbooks which you have to read 2 chapters from each text book and write a case brief each week due Friday (1 page each, single spaced 1/2'' margins type 10 font) also online homework for 2 chapters is due Sundays as well as responses to case briefs (MINIMUM 200 words for responses) -and YES he will deduct 15pts if its not 200 words...

Get ready to learn accounting! Good professor, provides great lecture notes, homework is on cencage, expect a quiz every week, 2 exams per semester, need to study to pass. Course is very time consuming, lecture notes and homework do take time to complete. I would definitely recommend Mr. Pacheco. Good at replying back to emails.

Hands down the best accounting professor you will have at TAMIU. Difficult, but you will learn and his notes are the best because he personalizes them himself. Did not read much because of his excellent notes received. Other than that, be prepared to know exactly how to breakdown a problem and read carefully.

Hes a good professor but he just goes too fast and you have to scramble to keep up but hes always willing to help.

He is pretty fast paced but I personally prefer that. He says you need the book but you can just reference his powerpoints and youll be okay. He doesnt really give GREAT feedback so youre better off going to the SI's but if you do your own reading you should be fine.

Finally a prof who cares whether or not you learn! He's super hot too!
