The Gatsby Benchmarks are a framework of eight guidelines for good careers education, developed to support schools in providing students with the best possible careers education, information, advice and guidance. The Government’s Careers Strategy is built around them, and they make a great place to start planning or improving careers programmes in every Tees Valley learning establishment.
TeesValleyCareers.com’s careers team consists of a Hub Lead and Enterprise Coordinators who will support you in progressing towards achieving the benchmarks. Support includes compass audits and evaluation; matching your school to an Enterprise Adviser; the shoutout system – connecting you to employers and providers for career related activities and events; resources supporting you to achieve the benchmarks; building a community of best practice through hub workshops and networking events; career funding support, highlighting event opportunities within Tees Valley.
