Kiki
Kiki

She is growing by leaps and bounds, she tear's through the house like she owns it. My other cats are finally getting used to having a playful baby around. Now if she would only adapt to our bird. She loves jumping on her cage and taunting her, but she is learning like our other cats did. They now allow the bird to stand on their backs and they just look at her like she is a crazy bird. I know Kiki will adjust also. She became a wonderful addition to our family in our time of need since on July 18th my Mother passed away and as part of grieving they say animals help in that process and Kiki and my other babies are a great comfort. They know exactly when I need a snuggle or a kiss and I am grateful to have all my babies even if two are almost 11 yrs old they will always be my babies. Thank you for Kiki, she is a pleasure and a lot of giggles when needed the most. Carol Brown --

Tilly

Hi Kathy! Tilly is fantastic. I am sending you some pictures. Kiron is fine with her, already sniffed her everywhere :-o Our other cat, Gattaccio, is the one who still "fights" with her, mainly because he is jealous of me (meal times) or of his space. But this is not always and anyways she seems to not take notice of his grouchiness. She has a calming power on my daughter who had had excellent nights with Tilly roosted on her head. So, we are all doing fine :-) Have a good weekend. Adriana

Delilah

Hi Kathy, Thank you so much for the follow up! Delilah is such a delight :) We love her so much and she is a very sweet girl. She has adjusted very well to our home and overall is doing pretty good with crate training. She still has accidents once in a while but getting better! She had worms at her first wellness visit and JB took care of the treatment. She also has puppy mange/mites that the vet found at her next visit. Peter OK'd the vet to bill JB for the treatment also. Thank you Peter! We are now giving her the Ivermectin every day and hopefully she will see some relief from the itching soon. I have attached a photo from shortly after her arrival at our home. She has grown a lot since then! Lynette Laufenberg

Doodle Bug

Hello! I've had doodle bug about a month officially adopted now, about 2 in total though! We've been good! We moved into a new apartment about 2 weeks ago and I started school a week ago. She is doing good with the change, she had 2 accidents on the new carpet but I think we have our schedule ironed out and working well for both of us. I think she likes the new place because we have a wonderful view of the lake from our patio, she just sits in front of the window n watches everything going on. Also a bad habit she has is chasing ducks,I know it's in her nature but I don't want her hurting the complex pets. So that is an ongoing effort, I have to be on the look out on our walks for them. She has broken out of her harness and then takes off chasing ducks in the lake but I got a new one and haven't had a problem after that. She has always been very friendly at the dog park. I've not had any problems from her with aggression at all! She is super playful and has tons of energy. Her best friend so far is my classmates cat! They just run and chase each other, love to rough house and we love to tire them out lol! At her vet check up she was 10.2 lbs. I decided on trinexus for her heartworm/flea/tick prevention. I also had another heartworm test done because I was just being nervous and wanted to be sure, it was negative! I know she had kennel cough when i got her so we decided to give her the vaccine now just to be safe! She got a clean bill of health. She has met my family and friends and everyone says the same thing "she is so sweet!"... I respond I know she is!im super lucky I got blessed with her! She's been very good with kids as well. She doesn't play with toys much, balls, nylabone, or stuffed toys really. She definitely enjoys a good rawhide bone though! And she loves to follow me around and snuggle and her belly rubbed! Princess doodle knows if she lays down n gives me her belly she's so cute I have to rub it :) she's good in the bath, as in she just stands still. I know she doesn't like it at all. I think that's a good run down of how we are doing! If there's any other questions just ask! Thank you for everything :) I have really enjoyed doodle bug! She makes me happy! It has been challenging some, especially at first because I didn't realize how ignorant I really was on how to deal with a new pet. With Amy's help, she always gives me tons of great advice whenever I need, I have learned a ton. I am looking forward to many years with doodle bug :) -Kim Woideck

Urika

Hi all at Justin rescue, we changed Urika's name to Molly she is a great LiL dog she has adjusted well to our family. Our family is Michael, Maria & two adult cats Lola & Stitch they accepted her & they all get along well. We took Molly to the vet a few days ago, that the rescue provided & she got her rabbies shot the vet said she is a healthy LiL girl. She is a smart dog she already learned to go on the wee-wee pads in the house she is now learning to go outside. A few weeks ago she learned she has a voice, Molly now talks to us and the cats sometimes at 2 or 3 in the morning. We will keep you posted on Molly's progress & send you pictures from time to time, take care and keep up your good work in caring for the homeless & unwanted animals.
