Leidos is seeking qualified candidates for the role of U-PASS Developer in support of the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Information Technology (IT) program. The Army Corps of Engineers Information Technology (ACE-IT) provides secure enterprise-wide IT and information management support services to more than 37,000 USACE end users located throughout the Continental U. S. (CONUS) and outside the Continental U. S. (OCONUS). ACE-IT is the enterprise IT service delivery team for the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, supporting mission requirements using a site-specific support model aligned along the USACE Regional Business Centers. ACE-IT provides direct on-site command and control, coordination, planning, and operations and maintenance support for routine and emergency IT services. Leidos is actively seeking personnel to support USACE headquarters locations in Washington, DC; Vicksburg, MS; Huntsville, AL; and Hillsboro, OR; across other USACE locations; and virtual positions. The Userid-Password Administration and Security System (U-PASS) is a centralized and automated system that provides identity management and administration of userids and password(s) on various systems/applications/databases within the USACE network. The system is developed and maintained on a web enabled Oracle database and Solaris servers to provide support for accounts with multiple passwords on multiple platforms. The U-PASS Developer, located in Hillsboro, OR, will design and develop web based applications and supporting system utilities for U-PASS. Primary Responsibilities Design and develop web based applications and supporting system utilities. Enhance existing system and related programs. Integrate new technologies according to specified business requirements. Involves web-based application programming as well as system, networking, and database development. Proactive participation in weekly development and team meetings as well as project management meetings. Minor system and database administration. Provide technical guidance to U-PASS Development and Administration team. Participate and serve as team s technical representative where needed. Must be able to perform under tight timeframes, execute problem solving skills and understand the key drivers that impact U-PASS. LeadGenLeadGenDev
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications Bachelor Degree with a minimum of four (4) years professional experience. Requires programming experience with PL/SQL, SQL, Java, C, C++, C#,. Net, and Shell Scripting. Working knowledge of Solaris and Oracle. Excellent problem solving skills, strong analytical skills, organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients. General knowledge of enterprise computing environments. Ability to operate in a fast-paced team environment Preferred QualificationsKnowledge in any of the following is a plus: Oracle Identity Management, APEX/Apache/OHS, Linux/Unix, Subversion, HTML, CSS, PHP, Perl, Python, VB Script, JavaScript, Active Directory, Open LDAP, Oracle Internet Directory, MS SQL Server, or MySQL.
