Frequently Asked Questions

Delta SkyMiles Reserve and Reserve Business American Express Card Members will still have Unlimited Access to the Delta Sky Club under the current policy through January 31, 2025. Additionally, Delta SkyMiles Reserve and Reserve Business Card Members will continue to have Unlimited Access to American Express Centurion Lounges.

Beginning February 1, 2025, Delta SkyMiles Reserve and Reserve Business American Express Card Members — both Basic and Additional — will receive 15 annual Club Visits until they make $75,000 in purchases and unlock Unlimited Access for the remainder of that year through January 31 of the next Medallion Year. Spend tracking starts in 2024 for the 2025 Medallion Year.

For example, if a Card Member reaches $75,000 in purchases on August 1, 2024, they would unlock Unlimited Delta Sky Club Access until January 31, 2026.

Effective February 1, 2025, a Visit will include all Delta Sky Club entries made within a 24-hour period, beginning at your first check-in to a Delta Sky Club (or a Grab and Go feature at a Delta Sky Club). This includes your departure city, connecting airports and arrival at your destination.

For example, if a customer has a connecting flight and is traveling ATL-LAX-HNL, and the customer visits a Delta Sky Club in ATL prior to departure, then again in LAX while they wait for their connecting flight, and again in HNL upon final arrival, these will all be included within that Visit as long as they occur within 24 hours of the first Club entry at ATL.

Additionally, if you are traveling on a same-day roundtrip, and use the Delta Sky Club for both your outbound and return flights, that would be considered within that same Visit as well as long as the entry on your return flight is within 24 hours of your initial Delta Sky Club entry on that trip.

However, if you are traveling ATL-LAX-HNL (with an overnight layover in LAX) and you check-in to a Delta Sky Club the next day prior to your departure flight to HNL (more than 24 hours after your initial Club Visit at ATL), then you will be assessed a second Visit.

Once all Visits have been used, additional Visits can be purchased at a per-person rate of $50 using the eligible American Express Card.

No, Visits can only be used by the Eligible Card Member and cannot be used for guest entry. Delta SkyMiles Reserve and Reserve Business American Express Card Members may use their Guest Passes for any guest entries, as 4 One-Time Guest Passes are issued to the Card Member after account opening and after account renewal each year. Or they can pay $50 per guest per Visit (up to two guests, or spouse/domestic partner and children under 21).

Card Members can receive an unlimited number of Visits by spending $75,000 or more in eligible purchases on the Eligible Card Account between January 1, 2024, and December 31, 2024, and each calendar year thereafter. Once this threshold is met, the Card Member earns Unlimited Club Access for the remainder of that calendar year through January 31 of the next Medallion Year.

Yes. Each eligible Card in the Card Account receives its own allotment of Visits. Card Members must present the applicable Card at the time of entry into the Delta Sky Club.

Delta 360 Members, American Express Centurion Card Members and Lifetime Delta Sky Club Members will be exempt from the 3-hour access policy.

The 3-hour access policy will not affect Club access for customers visiting the lounges before connecting flights.

Flight delays or interruptions will have no impact on Club access, as long as customers enter the Club within 3 hours of their originally scheduled departure time.

Club access is allowed in this case, provided customers intend to board the earlier flight if a seat becomes available.

Yes, this policy applies to the 4 One-Time Guest Passes Delta SkyMiles Reserve and Reserve Business American Express Card Members receive each year after renewal of their Card.

Please contact the Delta Sky Club Service Center for assistance. If you would like to discuss Card benefits or make updates to your Card membership, please contact American Express by calling the number on the back of your Card.

††Delta 360 Members and customers with a Lifetime Delta Sky Club Membership will be exempt from this policy.

1. Effective February 2, 2023, Delta Sky Club access is no longer extended to Delta Diamond, Platinum, and Gold Medallion Members when flying in Main Cabin or Delta Comfort+ internationally. Please note that Medallion Status still permits entry to the Club if flying in Delta Premium Select or Delta One, or if you have access through a different method.
2. SkyTeam Elite Plus: Itinerary must include same-day international travel on SkyTeam flight.
3. Applies to guests of existing Delta Sky Club Lifetime Members; Lifetime Memberships are no longer available for purchase.
4. Delta Sky Club Members may redeem miles from their SkyMiles account to cover fees for accompanying guests as a payment option, in lieu of guest fee paid in U.S. Dollars, at any Delta Sky Club or Grab and Go location. Guest payment must be made in person upon check-in to the Club location. Mileage must be deducted from Delta Sky Club Member’s own account. Member must have sufficient miles balance to cover the entire guest fee for all guests entering the Club with them. Not combinable with certificates, eCredits, or vouchers. Any miles you use will be automatically and permanently deducted from your SkyMiles account at the time of the redemption. Transactions are nonrefundable and cannot be reversed. SkyMiles Program Rules apply. For Delta Sky Club locations, the guest fee is $50 per person per visit, or 5,000 miles (mileage redemption option available to Delta Sky Club Members only). For entries to Grab and Go locations, the guest fee is $25 per person per visit, or 2,500 miles (mileage redemption option available to Delta Sky Club Members only).

All Delta Sky Club rules apply to Delta Sky Club Membership and use.

Eligible Card Members on departing flights can only access the Delta Sky Club or the Delta Sky Club “Grab and Go” feature within 3 hours of their flight’s scheduled departure time. During a layover between Delta-marketed or Delta-operated flights on the same ticket, you may visit the Delta Sky Club in your connecting airport at any time during the layover. Delta reserves the right to limit access for non-revenue flyers at any Delta Sky Club. Individuals must be at least 18 years of age to access Delta Sky Club, and 21 years of age to access locations with a self-service bar, unless accompanied by a responsible, supervising adult who has access to the Club. Benefit valid only at Delta Sky Club. Partner lounges are not included. Note that amenities may vary among Delta Sky Club locations. Access is subject to Delta Sky Club rules. To review the rules, please visit delta.com/skyclub. Benefit and rules subject to change without notice. Additional restrictions may apply.

Effective January 1, 2024: Eligible Card Members traveling on a same-day Delta-marketed, Delta-operated flight or a Delta partner airline flight that is not marketed or operated by Delta with Basic Economy (E) fare tickets (or similar “Light” or “basic” tickets issued by a Delta partner) will not have access to the Delta Sky Club or to Grab and Go.

Effective September 14, 2023 through January 31, 2025: Eligible Card Members receive complimentary access to the Delta Sky Club or to Grab and Go when traveling on a same-day Delta-marketed or Delta-operated flight. Eligible Card Members traveling on a Delta partner airline flight that is not marketed or operated by Delta may access the Club at a per-visit rate of $50 per person, per location, or Grab and Go  at a per-visit rate of $25 per person, per location. Eligible Card Members may also bring either up to two guests, or their immediate family (spouse/domestic partner and children under 21) to the Club at a per-visit rate of $50 per person, per location or to Grab and Go at a per-visit rate of $25 per person, per location. The Eligible Card must be used as the payment method to purchase guest access. Guests must also be flying on a same-day Delta or Delta partner airline flight. Children under 2 years of age may accompany the Eligible Card Member for free.

Effective February 1, 2025: Eligible Card Members will receive 15 Visits per Eligible Card per year to the Delta Sky Club or to Grab and Go when traveling on a same-day Delta-marketed or Delta-operated flight. Visits are non-transferable and may only be used by the Eligible Card Member.  Eligible Card Members traveling on a Delta partner airline flight that is not marketed or operated by Delta may access the Club at a per-Visit rate of $50 per person. Visits issued from February 1, 2025 through January 31, 2026 will expire on January 31, 2026, and Visits issued in subsequent years will expire on January 31 of each calendar year thereafter.

A “Visit” is an entry to one or more Delta Sky Clubs or usage of the Delta Sky Club “Grab and Go” feature, at one or more airports, for a period of up to 24 hours starting upon the first Delta Sky Club entry or Grab and Go usage, during an Eligible Card Member’s travel on a same-day Delta-marketed or Delta-operated flight. A single Visit permits usage of Delta Sky Club(s) in multiple airports during the 24-hour period. For example, if you visit a Delta Sky Club in different airports on a trip, entry into one or more of these Clubs will be considered part of the same Visit as long as these additional entries occur within 24 hours of the first Delta Sky Club entry. If travel exceeds 24 hours from the first Delta Sky Club, then a second Visit will be deducted if entering the Delta Sky Club or using Grab and Go more than 24 hours after the first entry. Eligible Card Members may not access the Club or a Grab and Go location in the three hours from the time of previous Grab and Go usage at the same airport.  Once all 15 Visits have been used, Eligible Card Members may purchase additional Delta Sky Club Visits (including Grab and Go) at a per-Visit rate of $50 per person. Visits cannot be used for guest entry. During a Visit, Eligible Card Members may bring either up to two (2) guests, or their immediate family (spouse/domestic partner and children under 21) to the Club (including Grab and Go) at a per-Visit rate of $50 per person. The Eligible Card must be used as the payment method to purchase Card Member and guest access. Guests must also be flying on a same-day Delta-marketed or Delta-operated flight or Delta partner airline flight and be accompanied by the Eligible Card Member. Children under 2 years of age may accompany the Eligible Card Member for free.

To earn an unlimited number of Visits (“Unlimited Delta Sky Club Access”) starting on February 1, 2025, the total eligible purchases on the Eligible Card Account must equal or exceed $75,000 (the “Purchase Requirement”) between January 1, 2024 and December 31, 2024 and in each calendar year thereafter. Unlimited Delta Sky Club Access will be provided to both the Basic and Additional Reserve Card Members on the Eligible Card Account once the Account has reached the Purchase Requirement. All entry requirements set forth in “General” above will continue to apply with respect to Unlimited Delta Sky Club Access.

Unlimited Delta Sky Club Access will be processed within a week of the Eligible Card Account’s satisfying the Purchase Requirement in most instances but may take up to 12 weeks to become effective. Once effective, Unlimited Delta Sky Club Access will be available for the remainder of the calendar year in which it became effective, the following calendar year and through January 31 of the next calendar year (for example, if Unlimited Delta Sky Club Access becomes effective on May 1, 2025, it will remain effective through January 31, 2027). Eligible purchases made by any Additional Card Members on the Eligible Card Account will contribute to the Purchase Requirement. Eligible purchases to meet the Purchase Requirement are for goods and services minus returns and other credits. Eligible purchases do NOT include fees, interest charges, cash advances, purchases of travelers’ checks, purchases or reloading of prepaid cards, purchases of gift cards, person-to-person payments, or other cash equivalents. If a Card Member upgrades to an Eligible Card from a different Delta SkyMiles Card, eligible purchases made on the prior Delta SkyMiles Card Account will count toward the Purchase Requirement.   Delta reserves the right to revoke Unlimited Delta Sky Club Access if you return, reverse or charge back eligible purchases in a way that reduces your eligible spend below the Purchase Requirement for the calendar year. If Delta and/or American Express determine that you have engaged in abuse, misuse, or gaming in connection with this Delta Sky Club Access Benefit in any way or that you intend to do so, Visits may be deducted from your account and/or Unlimited Delta Sky Club Access revoked.

The Eligible Platinum Card must be used as the payment method to purchase guest access. Guests must also be flying on a same-day Delta-operated flight. Children under 2 years of age may accompany the Eligible Platinum Card Member for free.

Effective February 1, 2025: Eligible Platinum Card Members will receive 10 Visits per Eligible Platinum Card per year to the Delta Sky Club or to Grab and Go when traveling on a same-day Delta-operated flight. Visits are non-transferable and may only be used by the Eligible Platinum Card Member. Visits issued from February 1, 2025 through January 31, 2026 will expire on January 31, 2026, and Visits issued in subsequent years will expire on January 31 of each calendar year thereafter.

A “Visit” is an entry to one or more Delta Sky Clubs or usage of the Delta Sky Club “Grab and Go” feature, at one or more airports, for a period of up to 24 hours starting upon the first Delta Sky Club entry or Grab and Go usage, during an Eligible Platinum Card Member’s travel on a same-day Delta-operated flight. Eligible Platinum Card Members may not access the Club or a Grab and Go location in the three hours from the time of previous Grab and Go usage at the same airport. Once all 10 Visits have been used, Eligible Card Members may purchase additional Delta Sky Club Visits (including Grab and Go) at a per-Visit rate of $50 per person. Visits cannot be used for guest entry. During a Visit, Eligible Platinum Card Members may bring either up to two (2) guests, or their immediate family (spouse/domestic partner and children under 21) to the Club (including Grab and Go) at a per-Visit rate of $50 per person. The Eligible Platinum Card must be used as the payment method to purchase Card Member and guest access. Guests must also be flying on a same-day Delta-operated flight and be accompanied by the Eligible Platinum Card Member. Children under 2 years of age may accompany the Eligible Platinum Card Member for free.

To earn an unlimited number of Visits (“Unlimited Delta Sky Club Access”) starting on February 1, 2025, the total eligible purchases on the Eligible Platinum Card Account must equal or exceed $75,000 (the “Purchase Requirement”) between January 1, 2024 and December 31, 2024 and in each calendar year thereafter. Unlimited Delta Sky Club Access will be provided to all Eligible Platinum Card Members once the Account has reached the Purchase Requirement. Companion Platinum Cards on Consumer Platinum Accounts and Additional Gold and Additional Business Expense Cards on Business Platinum Accounts are not eligible for the Unlimited Delta Sky Club Access benefit. All entry requirements set forth above will continue to apply with respect to Unlimited Delta Sky Club Access.

Unlimited Delta Sky Club Access will be processed within a week of the Eligible Platinum Card Account’s satisfying the Purchase Requirement in most instances but may take up to 12 weeks to become effective. Eligible purchases made by any Additional Card Members on the Eligible Platinum Card Account will contribute to the Purchase Requirement. If a Card Member upgrades or downgrades from a different American Express Card to an Eligible Platinum Card, eligible purchases made on the prior Card Account will count toward the Purchase Requirement.
