VERY DODGY

This 'company' hijacks websites to advertise their dodgy loans. Came across their link on a college website. Have informed the college.

I know times are hard, but make things easier for yourselves by staying clear of this company!

Beware, users of hacking an hyjacking domains

The sites URL is being imbedded in our old website domain to send traffic to their site by hacking. Clearly a company not to be trusted, beware. Their website as states... up to 1625.5% APR and registered offices are just PO box addresses, one director based in portugal, dormant co accounts... but all sorts of referances making them out to sound like a proper outfit. Be very careful with these people.

easy to borrow from, not that easy to repay early.

Extreemly fast response time, fast decision & fund transferred. Rate of interest huge considering small loans only. Repayment terms could be more flexible, ie days, weeks to allow early repayment set by customers. Also online early repayment should be allowed just as borrowing. Didn’t like phoning up to repay early.

Scammed Me Avoid!!!!

Avoid!!! Just tried to scam me! I made an application for a loan, it redirected me to another site. It asked for my bank details and then immediately tried to take £79.89 without informing me it was going to take it.

I have now had to cancel my card and get a new one as some random has my details to try take money at will! Total fraudsters my bank will be reporting them to the fraud team and investigating this unauthorised transaction. Its all screenshotted. What an absolute scam!

Trustworthy and Reliable Company.

I've borrowed from wage day advance on 3separate occasions and now consider myself a customer of theirs, if I need a short term fix just before payday. Their loans are sent out within hours after applying, so they are very fast and reliable. They are also open 7days per week, which gives you a peace of mind; incase you may need help with any query. Their customer service team are also very helpful and gives your the reassurance you need when borrowing. I highly recommend them!

Another missed deadline

I've already complained to how slow they handled the complaint, and finally after the deadline setup by themselves, they responded and promised a payment within 5 to 7 working days.
i've accepted the redress and sent bank details on the 23rd of November, so the 7th working day was up yesterday and still no payment!
They even confirmed the payment deadline on this website when they replied to my review. Why no one keeps their word these days?

Lodged a complaint

Lodged a complaint, accepted an offer of £1421 was advised by 3 different employees my money would be in at 5.30om on Wednesday (today) . Nothing in and it's now not until Friday. I'm now at work until Christmas day and can't get my Christmas shopping for my 3 kids. Completely unacceptable, quite possibly ruined Christmas for 5 people due to mis information. They have said that it will be in my account tomorrow, let's hope so or I'll have 3 unhappy kids at Christmas. Thanks for the un needed stress.

Raised a irresponsible lending…

Raised a irresponsible lending complaint mid November 2018 and had a email at 8 weeks saying they require another 8 weeks. The 2nd 8 weeks has passed and I have had no response to my queries. I see the company is now in administration. I still expect a reply however. I will be referring to FOS. The delays and lack of response are very unprofessional. They never carried out credit checks so the FOS will rule in claimant's favor.

Disgusting

This company is literally making me feel depressed!
They have been chasing me for money after I’ve been paying... they closed my account, no access to my online account, no updates when my payments were made and no help when you call support! It’s just “oh log into your account online” when I say I can’t they are surprised but not helping!
I feel like they keep taking my money and as I’m currently going through serious problems this is tipping me over the edge!
Do not approach this company, they can wreck your life, health and not to mention finances.
I intend to take this further.
Please STAY AWAY

Shocking company

Shocking company. I put in an affordability complaint in September 2018. They replied after 8 weeks saying they need more time to issue a final response. I recieved another email last week saying that they still need more time!! Shocking customer service! Avoid!!!

Irresponsible Lending

Raised a complaint middle of November. Usual generic response. At 8 weeks said they needed another 8 weeks or I can escalate it to the FOS. Wouldn’t bother going through wageday advance complaints procedure, just head straight to the FOS. And for every case the FOS has to deal with wageday advance have to pay a fee of a few hundred pound

Finally after 5 months I have had a…

Finally after 5 months I have had a final response with regards to a irresponsible lending complaint. Of course it hasnt been upheld......30+ loans over a 4yr period (new loan opened as soon as previous closed) isn't seen as irresponsible and that I was dependant at the time on them.

Off to the Ombudsmen then.

Poor in fact no communication

Applied for a loan over a week ago. Provisionally accepted, but told further checks needed to be done and I would have a decision in due course. Four days later, still no communication so I emailed customer care and questioned the outcome. That was four days ago and still no reply. When I log onto their website it states my application is in process. It has been in process for over a week. Today I called the customer number and gave up waiting to get through after 5 minutes. Such poor communication. If my loan has been declined, that's fine but I think it is good business etiquette to notify me rather than just no response.

UPDATE I HAVE A COMPLAINT AGREED AGAINST WAGEDAY ADVANCE FOR UNAFFORDABLE LENDING.

I had to escalate this to the FINANCIAL OMBUDSMAN service because the original compensation offered was poor and an effort to short change me and deny any wrong doing.

I still have not received any contact from them and not exactly sure why it would take 4 weeks to pay me what they owe me when they lend the vulnerable in a matter of minutes!

Terrible

AVOID

Can't update bank account online, so phoned up to update bank account, checked online account it was correct, they then somehow managed to pay into old bank account. Over 16 weeks on, still trying to get resolved :(

Crooks

delay tactics,

deadline after deadline missed with same generic response re affordability complaint. Obvious tactic to try and make you give up. Don't hold your breath for a response, forward to Ombudsman as soon as you can!

I sent my complaint to the FOS

I sent my complaint to the FOS - the adjudicator found in my favour 5 weeks ago. had no response from Wageday so waiting for the ombudsman to rule in my favour. would not recommend0- they were quick enough to get the cash out of me but when proven that it was irresponsible lending trying to get money out of them is like pulling teeth. AVOID

Can’t be bothered to even look into complaints!

I have an ongoing unaffordable loan complaint that they originally said I would receive a final response within 8 weeks they then asked for another 8 weeks. Today at the 16 week mark they emailed to say they had no response after I chased them. They also said they had already contacted me earlier, which they hadn’t.
The recommended time is 8 weeks, it has already been double this and now they can’t give me a response. I have passed this to the financial ombudsman as I have had enough of waiting for them to bother to even look at my complaint!

Very fast and straightforward service

I applied for a loan and it was approved very quickly after some checks. I was then given a time when the money would be sent to my account, and the funds arrived only around 50 minutes after they were sent. The whole process took only around 3 hours from applying for a loan to actually receiving it in my account. I haven't dealt with many Pay Day companies, but it would be difficult for any Pay Day company to provide a better service than Wage Day Advance.

Wage Day Advance

When all is said and done they are a payday loan company with all that that entails. However they are easy to do business with and contactable by phone (you get to speak to a real UK based person) if you need to discuss any problems you may have.
