Hi. Welcome to bcbsm.com. This video will help you get your claims information and explanation of benefits statements online. These instructions are for your desktop computer, but you can also get this information throughout mobile app. First, you'll need to log in to your account. Enter your username and password and select Login. You're now on your account home page. You'll see recent claim activity on the home page. To see more claims, select Claims from the blue navigation bar across the top. You can now see your claims and a summary of your claims activity here along the top. You'll notice a circular progress chart at the top. The chart shows the percentage of total charges covered by your plan in blue and the amount you pay in orange. Using the filtering capabilities on the left, you can select an individual family member to see specific claim information, narrow your search by Finalized Date or Service Date within a calendar year. You can also filter by claim status, service type, provider or network. Just check the boxes to narrow your search. Your online account is the best place to get up-to-date claim activity because it s updated as new claims are submitted. You can check here even before an Explanation of Benefits statement arrives. Moving to the center of the page, your claims are shown by date with the most recent at the top. If you would like to see details on a particular claim, simply select the row to launch an expanded view of the claim. Take a look here. The detailed view shows diagnosis and procedure codes. These codes help you verify the services you received and are critical to how your claims processed and paid. Hover over a code to get an explanation. You can also see how a claim breaks down and what you owe. If you want to search through many Jobs, you can do that through the main claims page herein the upper left, or within the Claims tab within the blue navigation bar. Once inside, you have the option to view and download a PDF, if it#39’s available. Once downloaded, you can save your statement to your computer. You can access information regarding a claim or EOB for up to 2 years from date of service from your account at bcbsm.com. Looking for something specific? Complete the fields on the left and click Search or filter by patient name to retrieve individual results.
