WEST MILTON — Susquehanna Community Financial, Inc. announced recently that it is completing its branding to Susquehanna by changing the bank name from West Milton State Bank to Susquehanna Community Bank effective July 1.

Bank officials said they are proud to announce that while the name is changing to reflect its growth and ability to serve customers, it is still under the same ownership. The same people are dedicated to delivering a better banking experience to their family, friends and neighbors, they said.

“We are proud to be a part of our communities,” said said Dave Runk, president and CEO. “Susquehanna Community Bank reflects who we have become. The name change is a celebration of our success and growth from our original location in the village of West Milton, beginning in 1920, to now six branches that span along the Susquehanna River.”

The name change completes the branding to Susquehanna that began in 2016 with the corporate name Susquehanna Community Financial, Inc.; the non-deposit investment division, Susquehanna Financial Solutions; and the Delaware equity subsidiary, Susquehanna Financial Investment Corporation.

Bank offices are located in West Milton, Lewisburg, Mifflinburg, Watsontown, Beaver Springs and Northumberland.

The West Milton State Bank is a member of FDIC.
