Lost access to the email address on your Tumblr account? If you also forgot your Tumblr password, you might lose your Tumblr blog. Tumblr relies on sending you a password reset email for forgotten passwords. If you can’t access to that email account on record with Tumblr, support cannot help you.
If your email is lost, Tumblr Help encourages you to recover your email access because, without your email, “…we unfortunately don’t have a way to verify that you’re the owner, and we don’t give out login information to anyone besides the owner. It’s a bummer, but don’t stress too much. You can always create a new account and start having fun all over again.”
College grads — Please note that not all universities offer lifetime email. If you used a college email for your Tumblr account, be sure to update your email address before it expires.
