Loved being in her class! She teaches in a way that is clear, concise, and easy to follow. 10/10 would definitely take her classes again!!!! She made math fun and that's hard to do

I hate math, but I learned so much in Ms. Namavar's class. I passed with an A. I had 4-5 homework assignments every week. There were 3 exams with study guides before each exam. Those study guides are exactly like the exam. The only difference is the numbers are changed. Those study guides saved my bacon. I'd def take her again if I could.

I took this class on Saturday mornings at 9AM. I was petrified going into the semester because I hadn't taken a math class in over five years. Professor Namavar was awesome though. She was willing to review basic concepts so everyone in the class could get on the same page. There is homework weekly on MyLabsPlus. Not hard, but it does take time.

Ms. Namavar is an amazing instructor, take her!! home work is not heavy, she gives reviews, exams are so similar to review, makes easy to understand, she is funny, and takes time for her students. Lets you use Calculator yay!!, She is the best!!

I love her! She's funny and very very very easy! I'm so happy I took her class on Saturday mornings! Her study guides are identical to her tests! She loves calculators and teaches you how you can put all the problems into the calculator.

Mrs. Ramavar was the best College Algebra teacher she made it easy to understand and provided many different ways of getting to the same answer so the students could use the one that was easy for them to remember. I have always struggled in math but i passed with an A-. I highly recommend her

She's an easygoing teacher who only assigns grades for reviews that you do online. She hands out a paper review and helps the class with the entirety of it right before a test. It would take way more effort to fail her class than to pass it!

Boring but easy class. Teacher explains everything very well. Sort of a monotonous voice with a few jokes, but bearable. I passed fairly easily. Not understanding when it comes to personal problems, so you're on your own pretty much. Ask her about her accent sometime-- she didn't tell us where she was from until the last day of school.

She was great. Listen and show up to class. She breaks down problems into terms so that it is easy for a novice to understand. She knows that most everybody that is taking her course is not going to be a math major.

I took her for two courses and highly recommend her if you have always struggled with algebra in the past.

Prof Namavar really knew her stuff. She explained examples clearly, and answered questions when asked. She did seem to have a bit of a temper, but after a while you get used to it. She also never talked off subject, but I could tell that she was very passionate about math. Only problem I had was that she didn't respond very quickly to emails.

She was not a good teacher and was difficult to understand. She would not take the time out to help students and when she did explain something, it was hard to understand what she did say. I did not look forward to going to class.

Ms. Namavar was a great teacher. She shows you examples of the problems and if you have a question she will answer and explain. You need to attend class, which you should if your in college. She has a dry wit but I found her funny and kind.

need the book. and attend every class she is a very good teacher.she is a spanish woman but is kind of hard to understand.she comes off with a temper but if you listen to her you will learn alot.the mymathlabs are due before class starts.if you need help make sure you have notes to show her you were paying attention.she helpfull some what.

The best algebra teacher ever! Pay attention and follow along by writing down each problem she does on the board. Do your study guides, they prepare you very well for the exams. Each study guide has the same exact problems that you'll see on each of the 4 exams, but with different numbers/scenarios. I currently have an A in her class :) TAKE HER!

Awesome instructor. I actually look forward to going to class even though algebra is my least favorite subject. No wonder she is highly recommended. She explains it in way that I can understand. Very helpful and makes the class fun and interesting.

The class is extremely easy. Hw has 10-15 questions. There were only 8 assignments and the lowest 3 scores get dropped. Study guides are identical to the tests. Lectures are easy to follow. Only complaint is that she was unhelpful to students who were bad at math. Her dry sense of humor came across as rude and unhelpful to them. Amusing otherwise.

Outstanding professionalism and very helpful. Made College Algebra seem easy.

If you learn by example, this is your class! She teaches by example. Homework assignment have approx 12 questions for each assignment due (which is 1/week). GREAT instructor!
