February 10, 2016 at 7:46 pm #27479BrightOSSpectatorHi all, I have an urgent problem that I'm desperately trying to solve on my own without success. When I try to use the login in the upper right hand corner of WPLMS it takes me to an all white screen and the url bar has (my domain)/wp-login.php. If I refresh that page it does work to take me to another login. So going to (my domain)/wp-login.php does work. The WPLMS login does not. I hope that makes sense. Tried searching support and found this: https://wplms.io/support/knowledge-base/fixing-login-widget-on-wplms-sites-hosted-on-wpengine-com/ Still, I can't get this to work for me. Any help would be greatly appreciated. It is pretty urgent that I find a working solution. All the Best, AdamFebruary 12, 2016 at 9:59 am #27835H.K. LatiyanParticipantPlease clarify: 1) Did you Change mywpengineinstallname with your WP Engine name. 2) Did you paste the code properly in the right file. Please check. The code works every time. If checked the above with no success then please share the admin credentials with us to check. However, I noticed that when I click to deactivate WPLMS Customizer pluggin it's not actually registering the action and deactivating. You must deactivate first right? These instructions are NOT comprehensive: <span style="color: #4b4d4d; font-family: Lato; font-size: 14px;">https://wplms.io/support/knowledge-base/fixing-login-widget-on-wplms-sites-hosted-on-wpengine-com/</span> Perhaps because I do not know enough to fully understand them. For the time being WPEngine has disabled their competing login security function and so WPLMS login security is all we have. And we are being overrun by spam user registrations! I have buddy press security activated. I have tried other plugin solutions. Nothing seems to work. I would like to get your recommended code added to the WPLMS Customizer Pluggin and then ask WP Engine to reactivate their login security to see if that helps! We have been trying for months to get everything right with WPLMS and we still aren't there yet! Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. My password has updated - login info below - User: prohelp Password: N9@XJl%vYy(hr74Mtq)w8BgDFebruary 14, 2016 at 11:51 pm #28515BrightOSSpectatorOk, So I have been working closely with support at wpengine. Looks like we have solved most of our issues BUT the WPLMS Customizer plugin is broken. We cannot deactivate or delete it. Any help would still be greatly appreciated. The login credentials for the live version of our site are the same: Live Domain: www.brightosinc.com User: prohelp Password: N9@XJl%vYy(hr74Mtq)w8BgDFebruary 16, 2016 at 6:44 am #28936Anshuman SahuKeymasterYep the wplms customizer plugin do not gets deactivated . The plugin is just for customization in wplms .It does not alter any functionality in wplms . To deactivate it you need to delete the plugin via ftp from your wp-content/plugins folder .February 16, 2016 at 8:51 pm #29222BrightOSSpectatorSo how to reinstall and use? Do you have tutorial or support doc?February 17, 2016 at 12:11 pm #29432H.K. LatiyanParticipantOnce you have deleted the plugin and wants to reinstall it then you can download it from the wplms package and upload it to the wp-content/plugins folder.
