A great trip

What a fantastic holiday. It was full of surprises firstly to get our own guides, drivers and vehicles as part of our package .We also had various extra's like meals and spa time, massages etc all thrown in unbe-known to us that was a surprise part of the package !!!
All the hotels were of a great 5 star standard as advertised. The content of the tours and the knowledge of the guides was good and interesting.Internal flights were all organised and transfers to domestic and international flights were part of the package. Timekeeping by those parties collecting and getting us to the airports was exceptional - they just appeared at the agreed time and off we went. Contact details of the local agents was also available to answer any queries or uncertainties Cant fault any part of the package,a thoroughly enjoyable holiday .

Family holiday to New York

We had a brilliant visit 2 New York booked with Voyage Privé, everything was so easy from downloading the air company app, online check in, hotel request for two rooms side by side - will definitely use these guys again! I tried to DIY the exact same holiday and couldn’t get it anywhere near the price that Voyage Privé were able to!

Wonderful trip in Porto

Wonderful trip in Porto. We enjoyed every second of it. Our hotel was 15mn (afoot) from the main monuments and the best activities. People were very nice and food is absolutely delicious.

Potluck but always a winner

Useful information readily to hand, interesting destinations and reasonable prices. My last adventure to Barga in Italy turned out to be the best holiday I have ever had in Europe. Great place, great town, great staff and very reasonable. Tout est bien et Pas cher!

A beautiful trip to Venice

I recently took my granddaughter to Venice booking everything through Voyage Prive. This was the 4th time I have used this company. The website and app are both easy to use. Everything is well planned and organised. Paperwork is clear. Contact numbers for emergencies are provided before you leave. I am about to use Voyage Prive for the 5th time, to go to Santorini, a clear indication of how we trust this company. Venice was as wonderful as anticipated the second time around.

Taking cancellation fee seems like a business for VP - DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM

I booked a trip with VP yesterday. Directly after the booking my girlfriend found out that the hotel they sold to us is a scam. In google there are several reviews where the hotel told the guests just some days before that they are closed and they have to move to any other hotel. Even police in Italy has been included.
I do not get why a company like VP is working together with scamming hotels. But now VP also feels like a scam as well. To cancel the reservation they want to charge me 500€.

So directly after my booking I sent an email to customer service. No reaction until now and after all these bad evaluations here on trustpilot I also do not expect them to react. The live chat reacted after one hour waiting and told me "you can do the cancellation by yourself within the portal for 500€"
It seems like they are doing on purpose because there is a lawsuite opened already by german consumer protection for anybody who is interested google for "klage-gegen-vpg-sas-voyage-prive-90463".

I will definitely reach out to german consumer protection and also to my lawyer. The live chat is not even a bit interested in finding a solution...

1st and last time voyage prive - thanks for nothing!

Just an update on my previous review.

Just an update on my previous review.

Customer support haven't been in contact with me. I made contact myself. They refuse to let me speak to a manager. They twist everything you say.

PLEASE AVOID VOYAGE PRIVE YOU WILL BE HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED

We had a fabulous time in India touring…

We had a fabulous time in India touring round Rajasthan, our guide Devain, ( not sure if thats spellt correct), was outstanding with his knowledge of all the forts and temples we visited, also the driver what skill avoiding cows and getting through absolute bedlam in the citys, there is a little down side, not all the hotels were of good standed, the distance travel each day ( part of the holiday) and the food, this is India and curry is the norm but maybe a couple of times a stake or chicken and chips, we found the holiday by the end very tyring but as an older couple our miss judgment, if your looking at this type of holiday maybe try for a slightly shorter trip.

Historic hotel in centre of Florence

Excellent value trip. Interesting old hotel with 600-year history, great location near main station (with efficient new tramway from airport), and so easy to walk around the historic centre of Florence. Friendly helpful staff, plenty of quiet places to sit and read, sweet little courtyard, didn’t use the outside spa/pool as it was February, but the water was warm! Breakfast was a little uninspired, very little hot food, but lots of pastries and breads (why is Florentine bread so tasteless? Maybe as it seems to be salt-free….) Opposite the world’s oldest pharmacy and 2 minutes from the exquisite church Santa Maria Novella. Lots of great trattorias and pizzerias nearby.

Everything went according to plan

Everything went according to plan. The booking process made it easy to match local departures with our chosen accommodation. The hotel was well beyond our expectations and the service was superb. We would definitely consider travelling with VP again.
