Ways to carry out<br />

online <strong>transfers</strong>:<br />

It’s secure, free and includes phone, internet and mobile services.<br />

Our internet service is available at <strong>1bank</strong>.com and you can access<br />

our customer service agents from Monday to Friday between 07:45<br />

and 21:30 (800 00 800 local number or +357 2212 8000 if calling<br />

from abroad) or through our interactive voice response (IVR) system<br />

for specific transactions 24/7.<br />

You can also access <strong>1bank</strong> via the Bank of Cyprus App available<br />

for free both at the App Store and the Google Play Store.<br />

For other mobile phones you can use mobi.<strong>1bank</strong>.com<br />

Transfers between my accounts (own/authorized)<br />

You can use this option to transfer funds between:<br />

A. Accounts of the same company or person. These are carried out<br />

instantly for any amount, provided the account to be debited has sufficient<br />

available funds. No Digipass code is required for these <strong>transfers</strong>.<br />

B. Accounts of different companies or persons who have authorised you<br />

to have full access to their accounts (as a signatory). These are carried out<br />

instantly provided the account to be debited has sufficient available funds.<br />

No Digipass code is required for these <strong>transfers</strong>. You can be authorised to<br />

carry out <strong>transfers</strong> for upto a maximum daily limit of €70.000 per authorisation.<br />

You can find this type of payments in the <strong>1bank</strong> menu as follows:<br />

Note:<br />

1. If the amount you intend to transfer<br />

exceeds the daily limit, the system<br />

will automatically give you the option<br />

to submit a request to carry out the<br />

transfer as a payment order that will<br />

then be sent to your branch for<br />

execution.Transfers with a future<br />

execution date and multiple signature<br />

<strong>transfers</strong> with more than one EXE<br />

signatory are excluded.<br />

A Digipass code will be required<br />

and charges may apply. Alternatively,<br />

you can elect to carry out the transfer<br />

on another day.<br />

2. <strong>1bank</strong> provides you with the ability<br />

to save your <strong>transfers</strong> as templates.<br />

Use this for repetitive or similar <strong>transfers</strong><br />

so you don’t have to reenter the<br />

details of the payment every time.<br />

3. You can also carry out future dated<br />

<strong>transfers</strong>, upto 6 months from the date<br />

of creation of the transfer.<br />

Transfers to other BOC accounts<br />

You can use this option to transfer funds to other Bank of Cyprus customers.<br />

These are carried out instantly provided the account to be debited has sufficient<br />

available funds and are subject to a maximum daily limit of €20.000.<br />

A Digipass code is required for these <strong>transfers</strong>.<br />

Swift payment orders<br />

You can use this option to transfer funds to any bank in the world as well as banks<br />

in Cyprus. You can find this type of payments in the <strong>1bank</strong> menu as follows:<br />

SWIFT <strong>transfers</strong> can be carried out for any amount and are automatically<br />

forwarded to your branch for execution. A Digipass code is required for these<br />

<strong>transfers</strong>. Upon execution a confirmation advice is forwarded instantly to your<br />

email.<br />

Tips for SWIFT payments<br />

Using these will safeguard that your order is executed in the fastest, efficient<br />

and most cost effective way:<br />

• Use the SWIFT address of the main branch when available especially<br />

in countries where the IBAN is used<br />

• Avoid the input of an intermediary bank<br />

• Avoid the input of additional branch information<br />

• Provide the bank with your contact telephone number and email so that<br />

your branch can contact you in case there is a need for any clarifications<br />

• Give complete remittance information (payment details) for the transaction<br />

• Provide full name and address (not P.O.Box) for the beneficiary as this<br />

is required by most countries<br />
