Only a few hours advance warning of…

Only a few hours advance warning of delivery and was not going to be home. Unable to contact anyone on chat. Downloaded app which didn't work. Left message on door asking delivery be left with neighbour. Driver ignored and left items outside in bad weather unprotected. One box very damp at one end on my arrival home at around 10.00pm (10-12 hours later) and had to strip cardboard away to prevent damage to contents. Not impressed

Great delivery experience

I've not had a delivery from XDP before but my first experience has been great. From the moment the package (large and heavy at 34.5KG) arrived in their network until the day of delivery, it has been a pleasant experience.

The delivery driver Stuart was incredibly friendly and he made sure he was respectful of my property. He dropped the package where I wanted it and we both left with a smile.

Everything you want really!

The delivery driver was very helpful &…

The delivery driver was very helpful & accommodating, as I wasn’t in but he persevered & found a neighbour to let him into the flat hallway & carried it up & put my heavy parcel outside my door.
Thank you!

Only downside was that my understanding was I would have plenty of notice of when delivery would occur but it happened on the day.

A bit of staff training wouldn’t go amiss

Delivery communication was good.
Not the same can be said for the delivery driver. He rung the doorbell, left the mattress leaning up against the door & had walked back to the van & driven off without even looking back or speaking.

One criticism, though: The email telling me about this delivery only arrived this morning. I might have been away from home, and there did not seem to be any way of changing the delivery date. A little more notice would have been useful.

Awful delivery service

Awful delivery service. The same person has delivered 2 items for me, one yesterday and one today. Leaves massive parcels that are not moveable alone at the front door, he rings the bell and then walks off and does not say a word, or even check if you are in whilst leaving huge parcels in your doorway. Very rude and when confronting him on his rudeness after having to stop his van driving away, he claims “it is not his job”. Would not recommend XDP as a delivery service purely due to this one delivery driver.

"Delivery Complete" but no sign of it

Been told my delivery has been made, and there's no sign of it, nor any card or tracking information to say if/where it has been left.
Maybe the XDP courier forged my signature like the last time they delivered to me?
There is no way to find out.

Avoid this company

This is actually a review of how my father in law did not have his item delivered. He was suppose to have a sofa delivered on 26 April between 22:39 - 00:29 - late at night according to their tracking info.
Consignment number: 0019755
It never arrived. It being 24 hrs later, still no delivery. An email was sent, but the auto response was a reply 24-72 hours.
So while my in laws are without a sofa, it is very inconsiderate they still have no update from XDP on their delivery. Their system still shows original two tracking data entered on 25 April… at the depot and then sent out.
Contacted Wayfair UK, and awaiting a response. We will be sure to tell Wayfair to avoid XDP if they want to maintain a good reputation.
We recently had many, many items ordered and delivered. The best company was Evri. Without question.

Package delivered burst open and badly…

Package delivered burst open and badly damaged inside. Have contacted Sales company and awaiting reply. Your delivery driver said it burst open when he lifted it. He took pictures so you have evidence.

Came on time

Came on time, guy delivering was polite and friendly.

The box wasn't just damaged. A piece of wood was also damaged, feel somewhere along way care wasn't given about the package which is a new bed for my toddler...... fingers crossed damage isn't too bad when box is fully open or complaints will be had

Helpful, friendly and on-time!

Your driver delivered the rather heavy exercise bike in the projected time window. I was impressed by the "next-stop" notification and the signature/QR process. I was also delighted by your driver's helpful willingness to wheel the box into the house on his trolley. This has been one of my best customer experiences from a logistics company.

The delivery was excellent 👍 the driver…

The delivery was excellent 👍 the driver was friendly, happy and went beyond to help us get out heavy packages to the safety of our porch and hallway. My husband believe it or not had severely hurt his hand and his arm was in a sling,we were awaiting the doctor to call when the delivery arrived. I cannot thank this excellent driver enough for helping us with this delivery as my husband couldn't lift anything due to his injury and the packages were far too heavy for me to lift. This driver was really caring and cheerful a real asset to his delivery company. Thank you.

Poor service

A very poor service. Delivery turned up 30 minutes after alloted time and was just dumped on drive with no knock on the door, ring of the doorbell or any communication whatsoever. Eventually I received a message from the original supplier around 8.20pm informing me the delivery was complete, finding this odd I checked outside to find my 2 bulky packages of garden furniture. Just imagine if this had been for an elderly person or it could have been stolen. Both boxes were also damaged.

Absolutely terrible!!!

Absolutely terrible!!!! Firstly they set a delivery window, which we made sure to stay in for, only for them to not show at all. They came the following day, knocked the door and got in the van before I could even open the door, therefore not knowing if anyone was in or not. I now have a heavy item in full view on my drive that I cannot move because I am heavily pregnant. Awful service.

Rather rude delivery person.

Rather rude delivery person.

Something came up and I had to be out. So I apologised to the driver, and kindly asked him if it's possible to redeliver on a later date. To which he retorted angrily "What do you want to do? I can't return it to the depot!". Look - I already apologised, what do you want me to do? Magically teleport to my property? It takes very little effort to come up with a solution - one does not need to be rude about it.

Not a 1 star because it's my fault, and you are very punctual, but it's just not a great experience.

Also there is literally no way to inform them I can't be there to take the delivery from email or live chat as far as I can see.

Delivered on the wrong day

Communication was good and delivery was made on Friday 26th April during the period communicated.

The problem was that we had asked for delivery on Monday 29th April. It was lucky there was someone available to take it.

Was provided a 2 hour slot on the…

Was provided a 2 hour slot on the morning of delivery and was able to see where the driver was via the live tracker, I received a text to state I was next for delivery which doesn't happen elsewhere! The delivery man Jack was kind and professional. Jack also made sure my heavy parcel was put down where I needed it. If I could give this company and Jack more than 5 star I would!!

Absolutely shocking company AVOID

Absolutely shocking company, waited 2 weeks for a missing part of a bed. When it arrived it was so badly damaged it was laughable. Whilst waiting for missing part I had zero communication from these cowboys and no way possible to contact them. Can’t understand why anyone uses these, especially after all the reviews.

Delivered to the wrong house

Delivered to the wrong house. I heard a van door and looked outside, the driver drove off and I got the delivered notification. I then had to go and get the extremely heavy box from next door. Other than that, good communication. But read the address properly.
