Yesterday, I was working on the computer, working in yahoo and going to my email.  I had no problems at all.  Then last night my wife was going to go on to her yahoo mail and it just wouldn't go.  I then tried and it didn't work.  I went into my yahoo mail and now it wouldn't work.

Everything else popped right up but Yahoo Mail.  Now, My Yahoo home page is very slow to open if it even does open up.

No matter what I do , I can't get Yahoo Mail to open.

I did a scan and it showed no virus or malware.  I've cleared the cache.  I have tried all the browsers there are.  None work with Yahoo Mail.

I have an Asus RT-AC86U router and a Netgear Modem.

I have tried everything I know.  What can I do?

Do you open Yahoo with an app or a web browser? If an app, what app? If a web browser, what web browser?

This is Yahoo groups, Not Yahoo mail.  But I am getting a little miffed at Yahoo Mail anyway because of how their ads take up a quarter of my viewing page.

Yahoo just happened to come back on a couple of minutes ago.  I have no idea why it didn't work for over 12 hours but now it is back on.  Everyone else I know that has Yahoo Mail have had no problems.

I open Yahoo with my browser on my PC.  I tried Firefox, Chrome, Opera, and Edge.  None worked.

I have been getting emails from Yahoo lately but I don't quite understand what they are trying to tell me about 3rd part apps. etc.

Yahoo and mail, just started working about 10 minutes ago.  I don't know what happened but it is on again.  Weird.

I just got off the phone with my IPS again and now they tell me that there was an outage that affected certain websites.  Nice to know after all the hours I spent wasting my time trying to fix something I wasn't going to fix. :smash:

It could have been due to your ISP having a problem with their DNS servers. If you run into this problem again look at changing the DNS servers on the PC. There is no need to change it on the router if it's changed on the PC.

Also there is Cloudflare which is fast.
