Below is a list of some of our most commonly asked questions about the program. If you have any that have not been answered, please feel free to reach out.
How can I view my course schedule?
Student-athletes will be in close contact with his or her Athletic Academic Coordinator to discuss course options for the GUST Program. Once a student-athlete is registered for his or her class(es), they are able to be viewed within Zagweb. To view your GUST class schedule, please follow the instructions below:
  1. Go to zagweb.gonzaga.edu
  2. Login using your GU Single-Sign On (SSO) credentials. If you have any difficulty logging into Zagweb, please call our ITS Help Desk at (509) 313-5550.
  3. Once in Zagweb, click on the “Student Profile Page" under the "student” tile.
  4. Click “Student Profile”
  5. Under "Additional Links" on the left side of your screen, choose "Registration and Planning"
  6. Select  "View Registration Information" and ensure that Summer 2023 is selected as the term. Your courses will appear for you in this screen.
  7. To view the dates and times of your courses, select "Schedule Details", and then the information will be listed below.
If you see anything that does not look correct with your schedule, please reach out to your Athletic Academic Coordinator as soon as possible.
How do I order textbooks?

Once you have been registered for your summer courses, it is recommended that you pre-order your textbooks so that you will have them once you arrive on campus in Spokane. If you are on a full-ride athletic scholarship during the summer, your textbooks will be ordered by the Athletic Department before you arrive. To order textbooks through Gonzaga’s bookstore, please visit the link below:

  1. Go to https://www.bkstr.com/gonzagazagshopstore/home
  2. At the bottom, you should see a pop-up banner to enter in your GU Student ID number and click “Submit”
  3. Select “Summer 2023” as the term and click “Submit”
  4. This will give a list of all required and recommended materials for each of your courses, that you can pre-order.

If you wish to purchase your textbooks through a different website, use the ISBN for each textbook found using the steps above and search with that through a different vendor (Amazon, etc).

During the summer, the Zag Shop will be open Monday – Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm. If you have any questions related to textbooks, please contact the Zag Shop directly at: (509) 313-6390.

How can I receive mail during the summer?

It’s easy. Students may visit the Mail Services page and Request a Mailbox. Once a request has been submitted, Mail Services will contact the student with their MSC box number and additional information regarding Mail Services. Student may submit their mailbox request after June 1st and will be able to start sending things to campus after they have received their MSC box number.

Summer Session Hours: Mon-Fri 8:00am-4:30pm
Mail Services is closed on weekends. Mail Services observes all GU Holidays.

Can I bring my car to campus over the summer?

Yes, members of the GUST Program can have their cars on campus during the summer. However, you will need to purchase a parking permit for the summer. Please contact Campus Security at (509) 313-6592 for more details.

Who can I talk to regarding COVID-19 policies and/or vaccine information?

Please contact your team Athletic Trainer (AT) with any questions you may have regarding COVID-19, vaccines or any additional questions related to physical and mental health.

When can I access the weight room and athletic training room? 

You must be cleared by our team physicians with a pre-participation (medical physical) exam as well as have completed all Sports Medicine and NCAA Compliance paperwork on ARMS.

 
Where can I get my pre-participation (medical physical) exam? 

Pre-participation exams must be completed with our team physicians and not an outside provider. Your Athletic Trainer will be scheduling these once all ARMS paperwork is complete. The cost of the pre-participation exam will be $35 at the expense of the student-athlete and will include a physician visit, EKG, and baseline lab work. If you have any questions or concerns please reach out to your team Athletic Trainer.
