Only 75 municipalities have failed to supply the data requested during the first six weeks in which the study has been in prqgress.

However, it is necessary to the success of the study that the data for all cities, towns, and villages be obtained and processed as speedily as possible. Those which have not yet responded are urged to do so. Dr. Ross said. Ross said that much of the credit for the cooperation received from the municipalities in obtaining financial information must go to the Louisiana Municipal' Association.

The association fully endorses the study and has repeatedly urged its membership to cooperate.
