These guys ****************** and have no respect for people. Yes I filled something out on their Website cus I thought I would be interested. But I did not realize that in filling out the form it would mean getting harassed by phone calls from these guys. I get 4+ call a day from them. And they never leave any messages. And they call within 2 hrs of the first call. Call way too often. Finally answered and the lady I talked to at first was very rude and would not answer my question. I asked her if its in their business practice to just continuously call people until they answer and not even leave messages. She refused to answer and sat silent until finally going yeah pretty much. I told her for them to never contact me again and putting this here to guarantee that the company will no longer contact me.

April 2,2024 I signed an agreement with National Debt relief under ********************************************** on July 31, 2020. I had 14 Creditors enrollled under this agreement to start paying down my debt. I paid $1147.00 a month into a dedicated Savings Account issued by *************** thru ******* & A** Which states "You shall retain full control, ownership and all rights over your dedicated Savings account and will at all times be solely responsible for any payments or distributions " In four years I paid off 12 creditors. On March 25, I closed my this account for health reasons which I explained to the ******* attorneys who handle my account. I was strugging to pay $1147 monthly. "You may cancell this agreement at any time for any reason and without penalty" I had $1195.24 in my dedicated savings account. There were no active settlements all legal fees were paid. I received an email today from my dedicated savings account, I had $0 in my account.. All fee were paid before March 25, 2024. ******* was not truthfull and up front with me when I spoke to *** who said all monies in this account would be refunded to me by check. I wanted to pay down my medical bills. I have read other complaints about this company, but I never believe they wound sreal from their clients. I just want wha',ts mine. Do you think I should write to the Ohio attorney *************** You should change their BBB rating to an ":F:" Thanking you in advance for your assistance to this matter *********************** .

I found them via a search and filled out their form. Since then, I have been harassed by them via phone calls I am not able to answer or go missed. I finally get an email from one of their representatives and I mentioned that I would like to proceed only to learn they cant accept me based on some factors. Why were you calling me then? Why were you wasting EVERYONE'S TIME? I had this idea of hope that has been obliterated now. You are not debt relief, that is absolutely false marketing in my eyes. The form said you could help and suddenly you cannot.

      Dear BBB,

This email is regarding complaint #********.

We apologize for any inconvenience you faced with the follow up calls.  We are a debt relief company that works to negotiate with creditors on our client's behalf, as advertised.

There are several factors that contribute to eligibility, which are put in place to ensure we are only enrolling individuals who are likely to benefit from the program.  When an account is settled, we charge a negotiation fee.  This fee is typically between 20% and 25% of the original balance for the account. For your largest balance, that creditor does not offer our clients settlements at a rate that would save you money when you consider the settlement amount and negotiation fee together.  If you wish to obtain more specific details about your situation, you may call our client success team at ************ and we can further explain.

We have removed your phone number from future contact but welcome you to call in.

      Sincerely,

      National Debt Relief

Early in 2024, someone entered my email along with the name ********************* and the ************** in some sort of Debt Relief portal. Since then, I receive 3-4 emails a day from various debt relief/real estate loan/loan consolidation companies. I have occasionally clicked "unsubscribe" but it doesn't help. One of the companies emailing frequently is National Debt Relief LLC so I wanted to see if there is a way to remove my email from their list. Thank you.

This is the information on my sign up with the program.Program Start Date- Mar 31, 2023 Active Creditors -7 Enrolled Debt-$27,568.00 Your Estimated Debt Free Date Oct 31, 2026 When enrolling in this program, i advised that I was already making higher payments on my debt but I was looking to lower my debt and monthly payments. My expected pay off date was 10/2026. Since I had been doing good AND making additional payments on my account I was called and offered a loan in November 2023 to stop creditors from additing additional fees and save Money by allowing NDR to make deals faster with my creditors. At the time my expexcted may off amount was $16,836.53. This loan was positioned to help me. I received the loan information last week and the total payoff with fees and interest is $40,000. The principal is a little over $19000. The pay off is not until 2029 as opposed to 2026 with NDR. I paid National Debt Relief $7520. $4300 went to my creditors and the rest was fees. I now have $40,000 worth of debt until 2029. This is robbery. I trusted them to help get me out of debt and Im in more debt and less $7520 but there is a banner saying that I saved $2000 on the website. I called to escalate and was advised that since the program was graduated and now with the loan they cannot assist me. Knowing that their program negatively affects credit scores, I should have never been referred to the loan. I was already making higher deposits to NDR to pay off my debt sooner. This is truly devastating and as a single mom trying to buy a home for my son, this sets me back LITERALLY YEARS! Ive been crying for days and I cant believe this is happening to me.

NDR has failed to complete agreed contract to lower or eliminate my debt by half and has ruined my credit score buy allowing my debt to go to collections. I was not fully explained on how program worked and I now cannot get an answer as to how to be removed from program or get an accurate payoff or to have debt renegotiated. They have made sure they have received their compensation before completing agreed settlements. Was not informed on percentage their company would receive for negotiations with creditors. COMPLETE FALIURE to assist in debt relief.

I contacted National Debt Relief, LLC to cancel my obligations for resolving my debt with them. *** made calls telling them about some payment arrangements I needed and they were not able to do as I needed them too. So my issue is that in my account with them I was depositing money of my own money. I had over a 1000 dollars in my account with them. They are claiming there only given me back 600 and something. Which I havent received at this time. I strongly believe that National Debt Relief, LLC is really scamming people out of their own money.! I have not settled any debts with them nor paid off any of them. So if anything Im even worse off with them having my money and my credit score tank with them. All I want is my money back! Which is very concerning to me. Which I felt they are misleading. Hopefully you can help. Also. My money that is in the account I can not access it anymore. They told me that my money I had all the decisions going forward . From where my money goes. Since I was making regular deposits every 2 weeks In this account. I feel violated and believe that all they were doing is taking my money and never reached out no phone calls. It was my reaching out to them.

I signed up for the *** program and deposited 3K toward them paying off my debt. I have noticed that they will settle for a lower amount with the creditor, but then add $200 to $500 in their "fees". which are almost the same amount as the original debt in some cases. They are setting with the creditor, but then charging enormous "fees" and they keep asking you to deposit more money. I would like my fees cut in half of what they are. this is ridiculous.

I have asked this company to take me off of their call list, to add me to their do not call list more than 10 times. National credit debt relief continues to call me from different phone numbers and now no caller ID phone numbers. Call me every day and sometimes three times a day. They are either rude or hang up when I asked them to remove me. I would like to not be contacted by them again. This is a violation of TCPA and I would like it addressed.

I filled out an online form via their website late 3/2/24 as I was interested in seeing how an estimated debt consolidation would work. After reading online reviews, along with the high monthly cost estimate, I decided against using the services. Starting Sunday 3/3/24 at 9am, this business has contacted me via phone multiple times a day, along with text message, and email. I never spoke to a representative or answered an email. I have attempted to block them on all accounts (phone and email, have not received mail from them) but due to their insistence, I dont want them to further contact my home. Of interest, this company found my work email somehow and sent an email there; that information was not supplied to them.I just want off their mailing list completely. I filled out a link on their website to be removed from contact and nothing has helped. I do not want them contacting my place of employment nor my personal contact as I have no interest. I attached screenshots of calls so far since Sunday.
