      visited site, paid for a background check, pulled report, canceled subscription that day, have proof of cancelation. 30 days later, without any notice, they charged my bank account for **************** company Truthfibders.com, they CLAIMED while I canceled what I signed up for, there was a 2nd part I did not cancel and they charged me for THAT, part. They refused to issue a refund for this UNKNOWN, UNDECLARED part of there plan.This is clearly bait and switch, letting you THINK you have canceled what you signed up for and then signing you up for a second service and then when you CANCEL the one you signed up for, they let you THINK you in the clear and then, do not inform you that you will be charged for somthing else.This is VERY deceptive business practices

      This is a complaint against PeopleConnect sites, specifically PeekYou, TruthFinder, InstantCheckmate, Intelius, and other platforms under their control. The complaint pertains to the unauthorized dissemination of personal information and the failure to comply with a request for data removal. Below is a list of key points and evidence for your review: 1. I contacted Peek You sites to request the removal of my personal data from their databases and platforms due to concerns regarding online privacy and data security. Despite repeated attempts to communicate with their customer support team, I have not received any confirmation or action regarding the removal of my data. 2. The continued accessibility of my personal information on Peek You sites poses a significant risk to my privacy and security, potentially leading to identity theft, harassment, and other forms of exploitation. 3. The automated verification process for data removal encounters obstacles due to outdated contact information provided by ********. Despite multiple calls and emails they have failed to process my request effectively. I urge the Better Business Bureau to thoroughly investigate this matter and ensure that Peek You adheres to privacy laws and regulations. Your intervention is crucial in protecting consumers' privacy rights.Thank you I have also attached a photo of my information on their website.

      On 4/9 I completed an online search using Truthfinder's online service. Upon collecting my credit card information, the system was unable to create an account for me, thus creating a mechanism where I will be tied up in an inability to cancel a subscription. Their online system is unavailable to me, Their phone-based system is not staffed and has an erroneous message, again making it impossible to cancel a subscription. This site is a scam site,

      On February 29th, I sought information on an individuals background for my organization. I went through truthfinder to get a background report of the individual. Truthfinder billed me twice for a total over $35. I received the desired report and canceled my account and further payments. Now on March 30th, I was billed again for another $30, and find that my account was not canceled as requested and informed that it would be. I have filed a second cancelation request and attempted to halt the payment.

      After repeated request to remove my name from their website, I'm met with essentially no response every time. I've removed my "profile" but they continue to list my name as an associate of certain people, knowing full well it's leading to damages. I've made it abundantly clear I don't wish to have my name on their website in any way, shape, or form. I've had trouble with ongoing harassment, stalking, and disinformation campaigns of which they seem indifferent to.
