The results of nearly a half-million applications for 120,000 fall big-game tags in Oregon will be posted Saturday, the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife said Friday.

But only hunters who have an online account with the department can find out first. Those without accounts must either visit a license agent or wait until Monday and call the department (1-503-947-6101).

Log in through a browser, since results aren’t shown on the MyODFW app.

Sign on at “odfw.huntfishoregon.com” and log in on the green tab. After signing in, go under Recreational Portfolio and click “Controlled Hunt.” If you drew a tag, you will see the term “Selected” or “Not Selected” next to your hunt choice. (Results will also be available under “Controlled Hunt Wins.”)

The department recorded 491,504 controlled hunt applications this year (up 2.69% from last year) for 120,263 available tags.
