This is important because – even though they are safe drivers overall – older drivers are more vulnerable to severe injury or even death when involved in a vehicle crash.

The AARP Alabama Driver Safety Program currently has an opening for the State Coordinator position. This is the highest volunteer position in the program for the state, and requires both a commitment to the policies and direction of the AARP Driver Safety Program, and the ability to use effective leadership skills to advance the program at the state level.
